For some reason (I don't really care to figure out), the discussion of Juneteenth started referencing Floyd's murder (which occurred during the Memorial Day weekend) and equating the two. I was pointing out (kind of obliquely) that if Floyd needed a remembrance, it would coincide with the remembrance of those killed fighting the Slaveholder's Rebellion.

What? Who wants to honor slaveholders? Putting down their rebellion is not "honoring them". George Floyd was just some guy whose minor run-in with the police ended in his murder. I'm not seeing what any of this has to do with Juneteenth.

You said George Floyd died, wow you must didn't see the same video everybody else saw. Why did they rule it homicide /@ doesn't that mean murder, why did those cops go on trial and why were they convicted!
