It's a mask that is the same as his head. A mask that is smaller wouldn't fit. A mask that was larger would look very obvious.

His mask was "shaved-head white guy" that fit him. Of course it vaguely looks like him in a low-res picture. I think that is the point. I suspect the point of the mask was to (A) obscure any security camera photos of his actual face for ID purposes, and (B) to make the police think they were tracking a bald man, or if they'd ID'd him, that he'd shaved his head and have the APB put out for "shaved head".

Was it a great ploy? Probably not. We've apparently already seen through it. No one is claiming this guy is a genius strategist.

We are the reasonable bunch. You can attach us to how many riots in the past 10 years? One? And it was over in four hours, to which the left compared it to a national tragedy along with 9/11. But the left, can riot for weeks on end, destroy entire city blocks, attack police, year after year, bailing out rioters, etc, but no, they are the heroes of the story. It's the right that forces this violence. Why? Because we exist and disagree with the left on issues, so we force them to have regular temper tantrums? Maybe the left should take some responsibilty for their own violent tendances, hate crimes, shootings, riots, etc.

Though it’s nice to finally see somebody here admit that January 6th was a violent riot. Must have missed the memo that the company line most of the far right people spout here was it was a tour, they were let in, it’s a public place, they’re patriots who did nothing wrong, etc.

It’s honestly sad, in a way. I can’t imagine how hard it is to live so scared and confused about everything that the default is anything they don't like is a victimization. A mask that’s inexplicably close to what he looks like without a mask, mind you, but a mask nonetheless.
