?? In what way?
My problem with the verses that @Apple Sky posts is that they are verses taken out of context, which "mention" something about the earth, the moon or other things and are therefore regarded as Biblical teaching on the subject.

He even says that the Bible is filled with errors and contradictions.

No we don't, we say we're not going to watch them.
Why? Because Apple Sky has been posting YouTube clips that, supposedly, prove Flat Earth for months. Sometimes I have watched some of these clips and found that they do not teach what she is claiming they teach. She does not want a "thorough reply" or debate anyway. If I were to watch one and say, "oh, I see it all now; the earth is indeed flat" I suspect I would suddenly become Apple Sky's best friend.

Not on my part, it's not; it's an optimistic, and probably misguided, attempt to understand, to challenge her if I believe she is misinterpreting Scripture- which I do believe - and to try to challenge her to think logically about what she is saying.
She can believe the earth is a pink triangle covered in Candy Floss for all I care - it's the implications, or sometimes statements, that if we don't believe as she does, we don't believe God that are frustrating and completely false.

Also, I don’t know what it is about your obsession to always bring it back to Christian astronauts.

Apple Sky believes the earth is flat- her choice.
To maintain that belief she has to throw doubt on the photos of the earth taken from space which clearly show its shape - which she does.
Apple Sky believes that no one has ever walked on the moon, or ever will - her choice.
To maintain that belief she has to say that all astronauts are liars, were deceived or were deceiving us. At least one of the astronauts who walked on the moon was a Christian. He now gives talks about his experiences and preaches the Gospel. Apparently, he is also lying and his testimony is false - I think the latest was that he was paid to say that.
Yes, I, for one, should let it go. It just appals me that a Christian can dismiss, belittle and slander another one, all in the name of maintaining her belief that the earth is flat - a belief that is of no theological importance whatsoever.

It’s not this huge threat to the church like some of you make it out to be.

It's a hugely bad witness to any non-Christans who are browsing this forum and who may think that all Christians believe and behave as she doe.

We have watched, and picked apart, many of the videos she has posted in the past. It has had no effect on her views whatsoever, plus I am not willing to add to the views for the people making these videos. Some of them, like Eric Dubay, make an income from views of their videos, and I refuse to provide a single cent towards any advertising revenue they might gain.

I will speak just for myself. I do not know how you define "filled with", but it contains errors and contradictions, yes.

Even though you personally may see it as "the bigger problem" because it goes against your dogma you consider to be very important for you, it corresponds to reality and it is accepted by the mainstream scholars and by basically everybody who understands Bible a bit deeper than just reading it.

ii) to try to understand, as well as challenge, your belief. Again, belief in Flat Earth if you want to; who cares. But stop implying that Christians don't believe God if they oppose your beliefs on this and that Christians who know science and astronomy and know what they are talking about, are liars.

And yet you can't explain how being "deceived" about the shape of the earth affects our faith in God.
Because you can't.
You haven't explained how believing in Flat Earth, which has no theological significance at all, prevents us from believing and reading the Bible, serving God, believing and preaching the Gospel.

Apart from being similar in spelling, what is the connection between Apollyon and Apollo? Apollyon is as you say, the angel of the bottomless pit. Apollo isn't mentioned in the bible. Apollo was a false god of ancient Greece, the god of archery, music and dance. The name "Apollos" comes from the god's name. Apollos became a Christian:

“Now a certain Jew named Apollos, born at Alexandria, an eloquent man and mighty in the Scriptures, came to Ephesus.” (Ac 18:24 NKJV)

Suggesting that the spacecraft were named after Apollyon isn't correct. It's similar to saying that Wales must be a huge country because its name is similar to "whales."

Because you - who was once very moved by Charles Duke's Christian testimony - are now saying that he is lying/was paid to say what he did/was deceived in thinking that he walked on the moon.
Because what comes across is that you only care about the Scriptures if they can be used to prove your point. I recently said that I was leading a Bible study on Psalm 19, (though it was actually only on the first few verses.) There is a lot in that Psalm, including verses about God's word, commands and statutes. Your only comment was "I hope you read verse 1."

The Apollo program, NASA's ambitious human spaceflight program, was named after the Greek god Apollo, a choice made by NASA manager Abe Silverstein who believed the name embodied the program's spirit and scale.

So why quote a bible verse about Apollyon? That certainly gave me the impression that you were saying that the spaceflight program was named after the angel of the bottomless pit.

I certainly don't "always side with him". Indeed, I have written several posts disagreeing with his view that the bible has errors and contradictions. Nor am I "against" Apple Sky; I just disagree with her views on things like the shape of the earth and the moon landings.
