The US DOJ does not decide who is "allowed to run for government". Even charging and arresting him didn't stop him from running the NYC government.

The question being asked is why you don't hold the president to the same standards that you personally advocate. It's not a difficult question. I'm just curious about why that should be the case. How come you'd take offence if a forum member lies to you but it's OK if Trump does it.

I’ve been over Trump’s unfamiliarity with the truth for a while.

It’s not that he lies a lot, it’s that he thinks that he’s telling the truth, that irks me.
