He wasnt pres anymore. Their boss was fired.
That makes no sense.
I think theres 15 billionaires appointed to big positions. Maybe they wont get confirmed. Maybe they will unconstitutionally bypass confirmation.
So what? Is this just about hating financially successful people? You'd prefer homeless people be given appointments I guess?
Its a good example of a republic in name only. No wonder so many "conservatives" want to be like them. Let the strong man rule!
That some conservatives like Russia has to do with its society and culture, not at all with its government.

were they elected?
None of a president's appointees are elected to their appointed positions. That's why they're called "appointments".

Regardless, throughout history, kings, emperors, presidents and prime ministers have chosen advisers. At least the wise ones did. If you have a lot of responsibility over a wide array of things, you'd be a fool not to.
1) A few dozen times.
2) Goes to show you how spineless elected officials are.
And you can read their minds? You know that he influenced them and that they wouldn't have rejected the bill anyway? Maybe a few Musk tweets have the power of a Jedi mind trick?

Fair enough.

You haven't noticed how Trump and Musk are working and in hand to threaten Republicans right who do not demonstrate sufficient feality EVEN if it is against the wishes of their constituents?

That's part of politics.
...EVEN if it is against the wishes of their constituents?
I'm a constituent and I'd rather they pass a good spending bill rather than a bad one. Trust me, speaking for Americans, we who voted for Trump did so for reasons. We trust Trump more than we trust our uni-party Congress.

Trump lost. Nothing was going to fix that. If it was like Bush v Gore, where scotus could seal the election by their ruling alone, that would be different.

Its a whole lot of out of touch elites.

Yes, they like how the gays are run down and driven into hiding. They like how the church is unified and serves for the glory of the state. They like the efficacy of the strong man system. They sure arent there for the Dostoyevsky.

Alright, then explain your previous comment that "Trump owns SCOTUS". They serve for life. They can't be gotten rid of unless they're caught on video committing murder, lol. They can't be pressured.

:ahah: Ho ho, that's rich. You're describing the rest of D.C. which hates Trump. Some of these billionaires are going to be taking a big pay cut for the next four years in order to serve their country.

They like the fact that Russia has so far avoided joining Clown World.
They like the efficacy of the strong man system.
No, we don't like a strong man "system", but we do like a strong man to lead. Abraham Lincoln was strong. Winston Churchill was strong.
They sure arent there for the Dostoyevsky.
I seriously doubt that more liberals than conservatives are Dostoyevsky fans.

One thing that Terry Pratchett learned me was that the viseer is always the heavy.

Hmm. I wonder. Probly doesnt matter anymore as libs just read the graphic novel, and conservatives let Tucker Carlson summarize it for them

Dostoyevsky comic books. I checked and apparently that is a thing. Didn't see that coming. Anyway, I learned my Dostoyevsky from Norm MacDonald's moth joke.

Those appointees go through the nomination process replete with background checks and all do the not?
Would Mr. Musk who has no problem getting high on social media get through that process?
