Wait isn't Trump a sexist? Stefanik, Gabbard, Noem, McMahon, Wiles and now Bondi.

Not to mention Carroll and Daniels.

Anyway, Gatez is already out? I'm starting to be reminded of Donald's last admin and his inability to keep people around. Or the GOP's attempts to pick a speaker. It is almost as if there's a pattern of the GOP not being serious about this government thing.

By comparison to Gaetz, who served just 3 years as an associate at a law firm, Bondi is immensely more qualified. She served as Florida AG and a couple decades as a prosecutor. And, she's been firmly in Trump's camp, having defended him during one of his impeachment's and repeated the Big Lie in Pennsylvania following the 2020 election.

She is both qualified and loyal.

Which begs the question: Why woud Trump pick Gaetz in the first place?

There does seem to be a pattern of doing things which indicate he's not particularly good at the job he was hired for.

Vast majority? The votes are still being counted, but at most Trump will barely squeak to a majority of the popular vote. He won both the popular and electoral votes, but just barely on both.

There seems to be a concerted effort to tell tall tales about how popular Donald is. Almost as if the people doing it are worried that buyer's remorse is going to kick in as soon as non-extremist voters realize what they've actually voted for.

How about the greatest political comeback victory in US history?

Please, like him or hate him, he's the most famous, most talked about, most thought about person in the whole world.

Simplistic non-answers for complex problems - sums up the current state of conservative political thought quite nicely.
Buyers remorse was seen in the morning hours of Nov 6th when Kamala's campaign manager took the stage to announce she wouldn't be coming out to speak to attendees at her victory party "Not"

That's not what buyer's remorse means. Nice try, though.

Not vast.
He has less than half the popular vote and only beat harris but what....currently it's 2.9%. And that's waaaaaaaaay less than Biden beat him by.

ROFL.
There was no "comeback". That's silly.
A comeback implies that his vote total increased meaningfully.

What happenned was that the opposing team only fielded 50% of a defence and was weakenned.

"Not"?
Whoa.
Really?

No, a comeback simply means regaining a position that was previously held. What happened is Trump regained the presidency. In a way that's only been achieved once before in US history. Therefore Trump achieved one of the greatest political comebacks in US history.

Most likely many regret having invested 1.5 billion dollars in the failed Harris campaign. Technically that's investor's remorse, but it's very similar to buyers remorse, where someone realizes they wasted their money and would like a refund.

Given how odd he is, and how much he's not "taking things seriously", isn't all that popular, aligns himself with goofy people... etc etc...

This must be particularly embarrassing and quite puzzling for the political entity that lost to him 2 out of the last 3 elections despite spending almost twice the amount of money.

It's pretty obvious this is in no way the fault of the DNC.

They did everything right and ran a precision, laser-focused, perfect campaign.

They got on-board with everything that's super popular and universally-liked among the American electorate, from things that everyone loves like gender transition services for minors and males in women's locker rooms, to allowing unchecked immigration, to emotionally manipulating people on the topic of abortion, to decriminalizing things like shoplifting and open-air drug use at playgrounds, to escalating conflicts with a nuclear power, to proposing artificial price capping despite all of the economists from both wings saying it's a bad idea...

And Harris even handled tough questions perfectly... for instance, when an interviewer asks, "given that these are things that Americans say they're frustrated about, what would you do differently than your boss", she basically put on a master class in politics when she replied with "not a thing comes to mind".

Given that Democrats can't be to blame, as I've been educated and enlightened on these forums, and now realize the prior errors of my ways and now know that Republicans are the worst, they're so much worse than the Democrats...so much so, that any critique (which there really isn't any room for, because as I mentioned above, they did everything so close to perfect, no matter how minor), is just "both sides'ing", so the only thing we should ever do is keep the exclusive focus on criticizing Republicans, because not only are they worse than the democrats, they're also worse than the democrats...not to mention the fact that they're also worse than the democrats.

I'm left scratching my head because for the life of me, I can't figure out why they lost. I haven't seen a better effort since that nailbiter, barnburner of a campaign that Michael Dukakis put on in 1988.

We'll see if that's really the top concern of voters if Donald starts actually following through on his campaign promises and grocery prices go up.
