After reading this article, If true, he should not be teaching ANYTHING about Scripture. Teaching Scripture as this article suggests is akin to interpreting cloud formations to arrive at theological truth. "Imagine" this, "think" that - descend into your own personal confusion and call that listening to the Word of God? I don't think so.

Jonathan and David were like brothers. There is no indication there is relationship was sexual, and no Jewish person has ever taught that.

Teilhard De Chaden should've been made a Doctor of the Church long ago.

In WWI, being a priest, he did not carry a gun and served as a stretcher bearer where he saw the worst of war,
as if there was any good in that war.

His life was that of a saint and scientist which he linked together. He was also part of the team that
discovered "Peking Man." in China.

His theory on evolution is one I agree with. He said that humans evolved biologically quickly until about 10,000
years ago. Then, biological evolution slowed way down. However, intellect and spirituality evolved quickly
and continues even today.

Whatever 'poetic science' is.

The American Heritage dictionary has it both ways. But there are people who claim celibacy who are nonetheless very sexually active. They make the distinction that to be celibate is only to be unmarried by choice. They have vowed celibacy (remaining unmarried) but they have their friends with benefits.
