CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

It's disingenuous to say there's no difference between insulting party leaders and those in authority who abuse the power given them in the full light of day - and the average American voter.
Trump has never once insulted the average American voter - whereas that's all the Democrats do because while our battle is against those in positions of power who abuse their authority, the Democrats battle is apparently against those who think for themselves and vote against rampant corruption.
That's been the difference since 2016.

If Kamala Harris and Biden didn't absolutely despise Americans they wouldn't have opened the southern border and flooded our country with millions upon millions of unvetted people, allowing cartels, terrorists, drugs, rapists and murderers and more into our country and demanded we smile while they rape and murder our daughters and hurt our loved ones in unimaginable ways.
She has no regrets... I call this hate, hate for every single American citizen and our invited guests.

Important to remember that Republican leadership (the Bushes, Romneys, and McCains, etc.) has been, for the most part, allowing the same thing.
It's the postwar consensus. There's no longer any such thing as a particular American people to defend. America is now simply a universal idea, an open economic zone for the entire world.

They've dumped the Republican party now and went to the Democratic party.
They went out from us so that it would be known they aren't one of us.
They aren't conservatives and seem very happy, making room in our party for newcomers.

There was a bipartisan border bill a few months ago and it even had things the Republicans liked, and I think it was about to go through, but didn't Trump tell the Republicans to stop it? I don't remember why.

Murders murder but we don't legalized it just because laws don't stop them.
Thieves steal but we don't legalize it just because they do.
We have laws and punishments both as a deterrent to crime, and to protect society from those who don't respect the law.
We do this because laws are good for society, anarchy is not. We want to deter bad people from doing bad things and keep good people safe to live peacefully in accordance with their faith.
Recently n illegal alien, a Muslim man who entered this country in the San Diego section in 2023 from West Africa shot a Jewish man the other day as he was walking down his residential street to go to the synagogue, and would have killed the Jewish man as he lay on the ground wounded but the man's gun jammed.
The man shot at first responders (paramedics) and police as well as endangered other residents of the area.
This occurred near Chicago in the suburbs.
If the man had been removed from the country in accordance with U.S. law when he was first apprehended this wouldn't have occurred.
There's one story after the other about illegals raping women and children and murdering people now, because we aren't enforcing the law.
It's very easily fixed by enforcing existing laws as well as having barriers and deterrents of all kinds.
Then all Americans are safer and criminal aliens are deterred or removed once apprehended. That's our governments responsibility to the citizens.

Most Democrats support Israel. Biden has been supporting Israel. I support Israel and support the destruction of Hamas, though not innocents who are stuck where they are.
That one speaker labeled ALL Democrats Jew-hating degenerates, even the Democrats that are Jewish and support Israel. It is a lie and inflammatory.

Not something Trump said though. Mark Cuban said Trump didn’t have any smart women around him, insulting Tulsi Gabbard, Kellyann Conway, and many other women who work for his campaign. Are we to blame Kamala for Cuban’s comments?
