CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

How are things going today?She’s swelling in her legs and in a lot of pain. Waiting for test results now. Please pray.

I just got up. Did not get to sleep till like 5 am. She was checked for clots, heart, lungs and checked blood and urine through labs. She was in a lot of pain last night so they gave her an IV and injected some lasix, saline, potassium, and she started getting it out through urination but still in a lot of pain. She got sick in the lobby of the ER before triage could come and get her. After, we did EKG, x-rays, ultrasound, labs last night with everything going on. Waiting for the results was extremely long. So they ended up letting her come home but I have to go get a steroid cream for the stretched and damaged skin, potassium and lasix which she’ll take twice a day for a week. I need to watch for dehydration as the doctor said it was an aggressive treatment. I call Monday with her doctor for a follow up appointment to readdress meds, etc. she still in pain today and very tired but I guess that is to be expected. After I pull myself together and feed everyone I’ll get her prescriptions. Thank you all for the prayers last night. It’s deeply appreciated.
