Well, I don't think things turned out alright last time. You had some Republicans standing their ground and standing up for the law and constitution and you had some Republicans willing to do a great many things to try and steal the office. If Pence had gone along with it, or if Pence had hopped in that Limo and left the Capital building like the Secret Service were trying to get him to do so. You would have had a successful coup. Trump would still be in office and those that voted for him would have been delighted, they wouldn't have cared in the least that there was a coup.

You now still have millions of people in USA thinking that the Democrats stole the last election (still without any evidence of such a thing), angry and festering. They don't respect the DOJ or the CIA or FBI, or the Judges. They don't respect elections. They are just waiting on baited breath for Trump to give the word. Trump has surrounded himself even more by sychophants. Those in the party that are loyal to the Constitution have mostly been removed. Many election deniers are now on election boards in Republican states.
If Harris wins the election, D Trump will not go away with dignity and grace, he will use every trick in the book, legal or illegal to get in control. He doesn't hold office and he doesn't have his guy in the DOJ. So things will be different this time around.
But do you ever think he will lose gracefully?

When the Trump campaign was investigated for suspicion of helping the Russians interfere, this investigation had nothing to do with the Democrats, The FBI started investigating because of reports of a Republican claiming this stuff was happening. Then the Republican acting AG started up a special council to continue investigating this. They found that Trump campaign members met in secret with Russians in Trump Tower, they found that the Trump Campaign president was sharing polling data with the Russians. It was dodgy as hell.

Then you would really hate the tax system Jesus preached about. It disproportionately affected the poor a lot more than a flat tax does.
