  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

As usual, Charlie Kirk does an amazing job at highlighting everything that Tim Walz has done, and everything that Tim Walz is... and everything that Tim Walz has done here in Minnesota has been disastrous, catastrophic, and has been a blunder for the state of Minnesota.

Charlie Kirk's opinions, analysis, and facts that he publishes on his podcasts and radio shows are always spot on from a very conservative perspective.

Always? Why do conservatives always have to bring race into it?

Charlie Kirk's 'Black Pilot' Remark Sparks Fury

"If I see a Black pilot, I'm gonna be like 'boy, I hope he is qualified,'" the activist and host of the The Charlie Kirk Show said.

He made that comment as he was talking about DEI policies in the hiring practices of some of the airlines in the USA. Do you agree that pilots ought to be hired based upon their merits instead of also factoring in stuff from the DEI agenda?
Most Conservatives whom I know will not hire someone based upon Diversity Equity, and Inclusion. Instead, hiring and promoting people should only be done on the basis of merit.

Minnesotans would respectfully disagree, especially those with formerly hungry children, new parents who can get paid leave, family caregivers, veterans, the working class, etc.

I don't know about "conservatives", but Charlie Kirk is a somewhat racist XNationalist. That's been clear for years. I certainly don't expect better from him.

All jobs have qualifications that need to be met, and those for commercial pilots are quite strict. If private companies also have DEI considerations, I have no issue with that.

It's pretty sensible to not want the worst pilot being hired because their minority status.

One thing I knew for sure is she wasn't going to pick Josh Shapiro given the left's attitude towards Jews.

I'm nominating "spot on from a very conservative perspective" as 2024's "alternative facts".

Why do liberals Always attack and divert? Why not actually deal with facts Kirk presented? Would that be because it is much easier to play the race card ignore the facts and move on! Walz’s record is a dismal liberal train wreck . Calling those that bring forth those facts racist is a tired worn out tactic.

Attack and divert. Liberal tactic in living color. Why not refute the actual facts Kirk presented if you can?

always spot on from a very conservative perspective.
Even when he didn't understand what bananas are? Is that a spot on conservative perspectives? Or is it an example of a person confidently opining on a topic that had not even remedial knowledge thereof?

Did I hit a nerve?

Why not refute the actual facts Kirk presented if you can?
You mean the like the fact from the OP that literally "everything that Tim Walz has done here in Minnesota has been disastrous, catastrophic, and has been a blunder for the state of Minnesota"? If that's the level of discourse we're dealing with, I think mild amusement and ignoring it is the proper response.
