For sure. Everyone is easily offended and many are looking for things to be offended by. Ever heard of micro aggressions? Sometimes things are said or done that are in your face and meant to be offensive.

I'm sure there were. Mental health issues have always been a part of mankind. We all recognize it and they are most certainly free to experience their mental health issues and deal.with them as they will as adults. What they shouldn't do though is expect society to alter in order to participate in their mental.health issues. If they dress as rhe opposite sex or call themselves the opposite sex that's just fine. No one should object to that. It their issue.
