The person in the picture doesn't look like a female. And should have never been put in a female prison. There needs to be more common sense, when it comes to real Transgender women. This is not a Transgender woman.

I've never been a fan of third strike laws, on principle. Basing a law on baseball terminology seems a bit reductive.

Of course I think this deserves prison time, but a punishment should fit the crime.

Over here in germany, violent re-offenders can be held after their sentence is expired if the crime was especially egregious and there is a danger of reoffense. Those people are not prisoners, though, and are afforded more privileges as well as periodical evaluations to see if they can be released.

In my reading of the bible I have noticed a theme. One gets what he gives. If he gives forgiveness he will receive it. If he gives judgment he will receive it. If he gives condemnation he is condemning himself in the process. If you claim you are doing nothing wrong, I won't dispute (or judge) the statement. But I have faith One will judge that statement. It's the basis for my concern and warning.
