Who has withstood more veracity? Truthfulness? I think you meant to say ferocity, not veracity.
Still, the confusion in the meaning of words could explain a great deal.

Yes I made and error the point still stands.
As far as ferocity goes, when one pokes a beehive, one should expect to stir up some bees. And when one grabs the beehive and shakes it violently, well... you know...

I don't think any president ever has poked, swatted, and pounded on the beehive as much as Trump.

But I do understand the constitution and am quite aware of those who do not.
I am not a US citizen, so likely lack your razor sharp appreciation of its nuances. (I do have a copy though, currently sitting on my piano, as wa referring to it the other day.) Perhaps you can explain its precise relevance to the application of of NY law in the subject case.

Well we might agree in principle. He did poke the bear (swamp creatures in Washington). Is that why he is hated so much by the left? He did not conform to the political expectations of the deep state!

I think you got derailed there, and the train fell into a ravine.

Why not Trump?

Looking at Trump's life and his four years as president, why on earth would we want him back?

Poor Trump. No other President had it as bad as him? Or had to endure what Trump has? I think Lincoln (a civil war and assassination), and Kennedy (assassination) would disagree. So would Nixon who was heavily criticized and had to resign. Trump has asked for every criticism and action against him. Check it out:

Fraud:

Morality:

  • Trump was caught on a hot mic when on Entertainment tonight making lewd comments about kissing women and grabbing them by the privates and it was aired in 2016. “When you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything.”
  • Trump felt empowered to walk into the dressing rooms unannounced when he owned beauty pageants. "A former beauty queen is confirming Donald Trump’s own words about walking into pageant dressing rooms unannounced, following recently resurfaced audio recordings where Trump boasted about his ability to do so as the owner of the Miss USA pageant."
  • Trump was adjudicated to have committed rape. "A judge has now clarified that this is basically a legal distinction without a real-world difference. He says that what the jury found Trump did was in fact rape, as commonly understood."
  • Many of his supporters view him as Christian, but he has never asked forgiveness for his sins.
Trump ran a vile campaign filled with name-calling, and lied many times in office HIs presidency was filled with chaos, and there were abuses of power.

What do those who use to work for him say?

Sarah Matthews was working in the White House on Jan. 6, 2021 when a mob of former President Donald Trump’s supporters stormed the U.S. Capitol in an attempt to stop the certification of President Joe Biden's victory. She saw how Trump’s staff tried to get him to condemn the violence for hours without success.

“In my eyes, it was a complete dereliction of duty that he did not uphold his oath of office," Matthews told USA TODAY. "I lost all faith in him that day,”

“To see this many people coming out of an administration they worked for saying 'danger, don’t let that guy anywhere near the White House again, it will put our democracy in peril,' it’s a stunning thing,” said presidential historian Douglas Brinkley.

*Former Defense Secretary Jim Mattis released a statement condemning Jan. 6, when he accused the former president of using his position to "destroy trust in our election and to poison our respect for fellow citizens."

*Former Trump National Security Advisor Gen. H.R. McMaster in a CNN interview said the former president incited Jan. 6 through ”sustained disinformation... spreading these unfounded conspiracy theories" and accused him of “anti-leadership” and “undermining rule of law.”

*Former Trump White House Communications Director Stephanie Grisham, who resigned after Jan. 6, told ABC in 2021 Trump isn't "fit for the job," adding: "I think that he is erratic. I think that he can be delusional. I think that he is a narcissist and cares about himself first and foremost. And I do not want him to be our president again."

John Kelly, Trump’s former chief of staff, had his own long falling-out with Trump. Kelly, in a lengthy October statement to CNN, described Trump as “a person who admires autocrats and murderous dictators” and “has nothing but contempt for our democratic institutions, our Constitution, and the rule of law.”

Everything from avoiding having his calls to foreign leaders documented, to destroying records, to trying to hide classified documents at his golf clubs, and his lack of action on Jan. 6th begs to be criticized and legally addressed.

Epic typo!

(or Freudian slip?)

I like your interpretation of "veracity of attacks" as "attacks on Trumps character that are true"
However the phrase "veracity of attacks" is growing in usage and it describes the situation where attacker has a genuine plan to cause harm

I use phrase "veracity of attacks" all the time on truth social when I explain attacks by anti Trump deep state are like a particular severe form of cyber attack.
I hate how I have to spell out the deep state is like a computer virus and not like the Corona virus which can easily and cheaply be fixed by drinking disinfectant daily.

We will make what change we can, where we can, because that’s the nature of human beings and the “rules-of-grammar” are certainly amendable, but I think all you got is a shovel.

Trump as hush money jury deliberates: ‘Mother Teresa could not beat these charges’

“Mother Teresa could not beat these charges. These charges are rigged. The whole country’s a mess, between the borders and fake elections, and you have a trial like this where the judge is so conflicted he can’t breathe,” Trump said.

-

So if he's acquitted, I guess that means he's a big-league saint who totally outclasses Teresa.

Not really - judges have a lot of leeway when it comes to enforcing etiquette in the courtroom. Gestures, expressions, and other non-verbal emotes can still be seen as disrespectful and breaches of etiquette. You wouldn't say that you have a right to give the judge the finger, for example, would you?
I did one time. The judge had just ruled that it wasn’t a crime.
