That doesn't change the fact that the loudest advocates of climate change are still those flying those private jets, sailing those massive yachts, driving the giant cars and buying up the beach-front property.
I doubt that.

How many yachts does Greta Thunberg have? MIchael Mann? Bill Nye the Science Guy?
Who is *loudly* advocating for addressing climate change, in your opinion?

An investigative unit focused on combatting corruption among Russian officials says it has further proof that Vladmir Putin has a bigger fleet of yachts. In fact, it says Putin owns two more superyachts, bringing the total number to 10.

What is Putin's position on fossil fuels and climate change?

If we polled yacht owners, what do you think we would find?

We know how this world will end from the scriptures. God knows the beginning from the end. We cannot frustrate His plans because they have already been revealed.
So.. got any ideas what would happen if we tried?

And that will prevent the climate from changing?
This conversation is an utter waste of time. I'm hitting the Unfollow button. There's only so much wilful ignorance with which I can cope.

We shouldn’t do anything about AGW because some people are hypocrites?
Well, that takes care of that!

What is the alternative?
Well. This is pretty much an Imminent threat.
Right now in my cousins town, the first row of restaurants right on top of the dykes are getting inundated every season a few times. When you visit the beach in thr summer you'd have NO idea the ocean came up that high. The local govt. was making predictions (I don't recall what they were now) but it was not super comforting.
My other cousin in Amsterdam is also quite concerned about what happens in the next couple decades

Why would anyone want to associate with a Being whose “play” is more important than the (nearly) sentient-beings They created?

Well, if the nations of the earth agreed to “do something”, then that would mean that every nation would have to agree to do their part, but some won’t want to, so the rest will have to make them “want to” and we end up with One-World-Government and the Beast comes and the false prophet arises and like that there.

I can see why people would be shy of that.

Sea level change is largely driven by melting of polar ice caps. The amount of melting in the future based on future temperature increases in the polar region. A collapse of an ice sheet could cause several meters or more of ocean rise. You can't mitigate against that. Cities will be just lost at that point.
To be specific; it will be the melting ice on land: Greenland, Iceland and the Antarctic. polar ice on the North Pole will not contribute to a rise in sea level. Melting of the northern ice cap will change a big bright white surface that reflects heat into an open dark water mass that is very good at absorbing heat. Hence, it will accelerate the warming of ocean water. This will affect marine ecology and the weather patterns. as water warms, it expands. I have seen this mentioned as a second cause of rising sea levels, but I haven't seen specific figures.

Yes. That's what we've been trying to tell you for 30+ years.
You honestly believe that we can prevent the thing that always changes from changing?

God does not determine the outcome. He simply knows it and He revealed some of that with His children for our benefit and to bring us comfort.

We are His children. He loves us. He has given us everything and has Atoned for everything that He has created.

Everything is in God's hands. We are unable to alter the outcomes that have been revealed.
Considering that you postulate nothing short of divine intervention as a response to anything humans do that might be an "immediate threat" to mankind, I don't see the point of convincing you of the science of an immediate threat like climate change.

At the moment human beings are the main cause of its changing, so we can be the main cause of adjusting that change (to either go back towards the former equilibrium, or to push it further out of whack).
