I dont what you mean exactly but i dont worship on a day of the week nor do I stop following the Lord. But I found the path of his rest.
Brother, Judaism has not understood the week established in Genesis because they assumed that the Sabbath that falls in Jerusalem from evening to evening is the seventh day of the week when it falls in Jerusalem half a day before the seventh day of the week, which is from morning to morning. The week of creation is not the beginning of creation. There are two different periods of time separated by first light. Everything before first light in the week of creation happened long before the week of creation, an unspecified time earlier than first light on the week of creation. God came to an already existing earth to turn it into a home for us during the week of creation.

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was formless and empty, and darkness covered the deep waters. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters. (Genesis 1:1-2 NLT)

A lot of time passed between the earlier beginning above before the light below and the later moment below that begins the week of creation with first light. The first day is from first light to light again in the morning and the days following from morning to morning. Evening falls in the middle of the first day, separating the first light God called "day" and the first darkness God called "night" in that order.

Then God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. And God saw that the light was good. Then he separated the light from the darkness. God called the light “day” and the darkness “night.” And evening passed and MORNING came, marking the first day. (Genesis 1:3-5 NLT)

The order given above of "day" before "night" is verified in the following passage where the previous night is the day before and the next night to come is part of the current day.

The next day the older daughter said to the younger, “Last night I slept with my father. Let’s get him to drink wine again tonight, and you go in and sleep with him so we can preserve our family line through our father.” (Genesis 19:34 NIV)

Brother, happy Sabbath, starting this Friday, November 24, 2023 at 9:36 AM EST! We rest in two ways! First we rest by entering the true Biblical Sabbath as another "day" than thought since Joshua by correcting Judaism's wrong view of the start of the week day from human tradition in Hebrews. Second we rest from the prolong state of sin of the time consuming process of animal sacrifices before Jesus by going many times daily in prayer to Jesus to forgive our past sins much faster than was possible with the lengthy cycle of animal sacrifices. This faster cycle of many forgivenesses after Jesus allows us to deal with more sin than was possible before Jesus.

You are mixing two different rests! The first rest of not doing our own works is in reference to the "day" of rest in one of the Ten Commandments corrected as another "day" in the message of Hebrews. The second rest from Jesus is rest from a prolong state of sin by giving us a daily faster cycle of forgiveness as our High Priest through prayer from the heavenly temple than the animal sacrifices. A faster cycle for us to grow in mastery over sin by obeying the Eleven Commandments through practice. This daily faster cycle of many forgivenesses is different than the message of another "day" in Hebrews referring to the "day" in the Ten Commandments and not to the gain rest from a prolong state of sin thanks to the daily faster cycle of forgiveness from Jesus. This practice to obey the Eleven Commandments is not allowed by God's order by the prophets alone without the High Priestly daily forgivenesses of Jesus.

There are two rests not to be confused with each other where the second is not a "day" like the message in Hebrews of another "day". The first is the seventh "day" of the first week in the Ten Commandments. The second is the daily faster cycle of many forgivenesses allowing us to grow daily out of more sin because its faster than with animal sacrifices by having Jesus as our High Priest. The Eleventh commandment of following Jesus as our model "Spirit" gives us rest from a prolong state of our slavery to sin not previously obtain with animal sacrifices to gain mastery over sin allowing us to obey more in the new total of Eleven Commandments as we are changed into Jesus' glorious image.

Human beings have said Jesus replaced His Ten Commandments with an Eleventh Commandment when Jesus asks us to obey "all" His Eleven Commandments in the following passage where, having answered with the previous Ten Commandments, Jesus adds "one more thing you haven't done", bringing the total after Him of Eleven Commandments. The following passage tells us that Jesus has given us an Eleventh Commandment with the phrase "one thing you haven't done", after answering the question with: you know "the commandments"! Jesus' answer makes the "one thing you haven't done" an additional Eleventh Commandment. Consistent with us knowing the additional Eleventh Commandment in the new covenant of following Jesus' example. Paul says, Jesus is our model "Spirit" to follow. We are not to follow Judaism's human system of "law" that sabotaged the Ten Commandments to not remove sin in the resulting sons of Hagar, instead of God's will that we be sons of Sarah obeying His previous Ten Commandments as well as the new Eleventh Commandment.

Once a religious leader asked Jesus this question: “Good Teacher, what should I do to inherit eternal life?” “Why do you call me good?” Jesus asked him. “Only God is truly good. But to answer your question, you know the commandments (entolé): ‘You must not commit adultery. You must not murder. You must not steal. You must not testify falsely. Honor your father and mother.’” The man replied, “I’ve obeyed all these commandments since I was young.” When Jesus heard his answer, he said, “There is still one thing you haven’t done. Sell all your possessions and give the money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.” (Luke 18:18-22 NLT)

The new Eleventh Commandment above is found in the following passage, where to do "just as I have" is to "follow" His example by keeping a total of Eleven Commandments when Jesus adds one more to the previous Ten Commandments, saying above: "there is still one thing you haven't done".

As soon as Judas left the room, Jesus said, “The time has come for the Son of Man to enter into his glory, and God will be glorified because of him. And since God receives glory because of the Son, he will give his own glory to the Son, and he will do so at once. Dear children, I will be with you only a little longer. And as I told the Jewish leaders, you will search for me, but you can’t come where I am going. So now I am giving you a new commandment (entolé): Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other. Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.” (John 13:31-35 NLT)

United in our hope for the soon return of Jesus, Jorge

Jesus gives us rest from a prolong state of sin by giving us a daily faster cycle of forgiveness in the heavenly temple as our High Priest through prayer than the more time consuming animal sacrifices in the earthly temple.

Grace is mainly time to grow in mastery over sin through the practice of the Eleven Commandments allowed by Jesus' High Priestly forgivenesses when we pray to Him daily in the heavenly temple to forgive our past sins.

Jesus granting us many forgivenesses for past sins deals with the weakness of our slavery to sin. Grace in the following passage is time to grow to obey the Eleven Commandments where Jesus always lives to save completely those who come to God through Him.

Now there have been many of those priests, since death prevented them from continuing in office; but because Jesus lives forever, he has a permanent priesthood. Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them. Such a high priest truly meets our need—one who is holy, blameless, pure, set apart from sinners, exalted above the heavens. (Hebrews 7:23-26 NIV)

I left this world and it's politics and religion, and I stopped pointing my finger and stopped grumbling against God and man. I do God's will now. It's no longer me but the Lord in me. My healing came quickly and now I abide in the Lord.

Isaiah 58 “Cry loudly, do not hold back;
Raise your voice like a trumpet,
And declare to My people their wrongdoing,
And to the house of Jacob their sins.
2 Yet they seek Me day by day and delight to know My ways,
As a nation that has done righteousness
And has not forsaken the ordinance of their God.
They ask Me for just decisions,
They delight in the nearness of God.
3 ‘Why have we fasted and You do not see?
Why have we humbled ourselves and You do not [a]notice?’
Behold, on the day of your fast you find your desire,
And oppress all your workers.
4 Behold, you fast for contention and strife, and to strike with a wicked fist.
You do not fast like you have done today to make your voice heard on high!
5 Is it a fast like this that I choose, a day for a person to humble himself?
Is it for bowing one’s head like a reed
And for spreading out sackcloth and ashes as a bed?
Will you call this a fast, even an acceptable day to the Lord?
6 Is this not the fast that I choose:
To release the bonds of wickedness,
To undo the ropes of the yoke,
And to let the oppressed go free,
And break every yoke?
7 Is it not to break your bread [c]with the hungry
And bring the homeless poor into the house;
When you see the naked, to cover him;
And not to hide yourself from your own flesh?
8 Then your light will break out like the dawn,
And your recovery will spring up quickly;
And your righteousness will go before you;
The glory of the Lord will be your rear guard.
9 Then you will call, and the Lord will answer;
You will cry for help, and He will say, ‘Here I am.’
If you remove the yoke from your midst,
The [d]pointing of the finger and speaking wickedness,
10 And if you offer yourself to the hungry
And satisfy the [e]need of the afflicted,
Then your light will rise in darkness,
And your gloom will become like midday.
11 And the Lord will continually guide you,
And satisfy your [f]desire in scorched places,
And give strength to your bones;
And you will be like a watered garden,
And like a spring of water whose waters do not [g]fail.
12 Those from among you will rebuild the ancient ruins;
You will raise up the age-old foundations;
And you will be called the repairer of the breach,
The restorer of the [h]streets in which to dwell.

Keeping the Sabbath
13 “If, because of the Sabbath, you restrain your foot
From doing as you wish on My holy day,
And call the Sabbath a pleasure, and the holy day of the Lord honorable,
And honor it, desisting from your own ways,
From seeking your own pleasure
And speaking your own word,
14 Then you will take delight in the Lord,
And I will make you ride on the heights of the earth;
And I will feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father,
For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.”

I chose the Lord over politics and man's religion. I followed the Lord and his apostles and now in am a disciple of Christ who needs not hang my head in shame because it's the Lord who sustains me and lifts my head. The answers we seek are right here.

Luke 10:38 Now it happened as they went that He entered a certain village; and a certain woman named Martha welcomed Him into her house. 39 And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at [k]Jesus’ feet and heard His word. 40 But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she approached Him and said, “Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me.”

41 And [l]Jesus answered and said to her, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. 42 But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her.”

Luke 20:21 In that hour Jesus rejoiced in the Spirit and said, “I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and revealed them to babes. Even so, Father, for so it seemed good in Your sight. 22 All[g] things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows who the Son is except the Father, and who the Father is except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him.”

23 Then He turned to His disciples and said privately, “Blessed are the eyes which see the things you see; 24 for I tell you that many prophets and kings have desired to see what you see, and have not seen it, and to hear what you hear, and have not heard it.”

Luke 10:1 After these things the Lord appointed [a]seventy others also, and sent them two by two before His face into every city and place where He Himself was about to go. 2 Then He said to them, “The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few; therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest. 3 Go your way; behold, I send you out as lambs among wolves. 4 Carry neither money bag, knapsack, nor sandals; and greet no one along the road. 5 But whatever house you enter, first say, ‘Peace to this house.’ 6 And if a son of peace is there, your peace will rest on it; if not, it will return to you. 7 And remain in the same house, eating and drinking such things as they give, for the laborer is worthy of his wages. Do not go from house to house. 8 Whatever city you enter, and they receive you, eat such things as are set before you. 9 And heal the sick there, and say to them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near to you.’ 10 But whatever city you enter, and they do not receive you, go out into its streets and say, 11 ‘The very dust of your city which clings to us we wipe off against you. Nevertheless know this, that the kingdom of God has come near you.’ 12 [c]But I say to you that it will be more tolerable in that Day for Sodom than for that city.

Woe to the Impenitent Cities
13 “Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the mighty works which were done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago, sitting in sackcloth and ashes. 14 But it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the judgment than for you. 15 And you, Capernaum, [d]who are exalted to heaven, will be brought down to Hades. 16 He who hears you hears Me, he who rejects you rejects Me, and he who rejects Me rejects Him who sent Me.”

The Seventy Return with Joy
17 Then the [e]seventy returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name.”

18 And He said to them, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. 19 Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. 20 Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but [f]rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven.”

The Parable of the Good Samaritan
25 And behold, a certain [h]lawyer stood up and tested Him, saying, “Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?”

26 He said to him, “What is written in the law? What is your reading of it?”

27 So he answered and said, “ ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind,’ and ‘your neighbor as yourself.’ ”

28 And He said to him, “You have answered rightly; do this and you will live.”

The Lord was guiding me out of the world of darkness but I was still in it. I had a revelation one day. I stopped trying to overcome a sIn because i guess i realized that it was futile. I Told God I cant stop sinning unless you change me. I asked him in the past to take it away.but it never left. Then things got dark and terrible. I saw myself and this world and I remembered the voices of atheists who said that Jesus was my imaginary friend. I saw no God in myself because I was trapped in sin. I saw no God in the world either because of the confusion and suffering.

I thought to myself where is God? I dont see him, surely i dont see him in myself or the world. I lost all hope and reason. There was just darkness. My life was a mess and my sin was shameful and all i had that i could see is that cold, dark, grave.. I didn't have God that i could see. And people say he's just imaginary. I thought to myself is he imaginary to me? Why don't I see him? It was like I died. There was nothing but darkness.

Then I was talking to someone shorty after sitting there meditating on the darkness. And i noticed that I was using the Lord's teaching to guide my words. Not that I was preaching but just speaking his truth. And it was like that was God's voice saying to me here I am, inside you. My hope shined. I meditated on how Jesus is the word and I meditated on the word and I had joy and nothing could make me happier than to have this new hope. I've been meditating on the word ever since. The Lord is with me.

I'm wondering what this means. I know it doesn't look good to be in this world.

Revelation Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and spoke with me, saying, “Come here, I will show you the judgment of the great prostitute who sits on many waters, 2 with whom the kings of the earth committed acts of sexual immorality, and those who live on the earth became drunk with the wine of her sexual immorality.” 3 And he carried me away [a]in the Spirit into a wilderness; and I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast, full of blasphemous names, having seven heads and ten horns. 4 The woman was clothed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold, precious [c]stones, and pearls, holding in her hand a gold cup full of abominations and of the unclean things of her sexual immorality, 5 and on her forehead a name was written, [d]a mystery: “BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF PROSTITUTES AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.” 6 And I saw the woman drunk with the blood of the [e]saints, and with the blood of the witnesses of Jesus. When I saw her, I wondered [f]greatly. 7 And the angel said to me, “Why [g]do you wonder? I will tell you the mystery of the woman and of the beast that carries her, which has the seven heads and the ten horns.

8 “The beast that you saw was, and is not, and is about to come up out of the abyss and [h]go to destruction. And those who live on the earth, whose names have not been written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, will wonder when they see the beast, that he was, and is not, and will come. 9 Here is the mind which has wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains upon which the woman sits, 10 and they are seven kings; five have fallen, one is, the other has not yet come; and when he comes, he must remain a little while. 11 The beast which was, and is not, is himself also an eighth and is one of the seven, and he goes to destruction. 12 The ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have not yet received a kingdom, but they receive authority as kings with the beast for one hour. 13 These have one [j]purpose, and they give their power and authority to the beast.

Victory for the Lamb

14 These will wage war against the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them because He is Lord of lords and King of kings; and those who are with Him are the called and chosen and faithful.”

15 And he *said to me, “The waters which you saw where the prostitute sits are peoples and multitudes, and nations and languages. 16 And the ten horns which you saw, and the beast, these will hate the prostitute and will make her desolate and naked, and will eat her flesh and will burn her up with fire. 17 For God has put it in their hearts to execute His [k]purpose [l]by having a common purpose, and by giving their kingdom to the beast, until the words of God will be fulfilled. 18 The woman whom you saw is the great city, which [m]reigns over the kings of the earth.”

Perhaps Instead of being reduced to one day a week and not even the rest God gives which is in The Lord.
If we are going to believe the Words of the bible, we do not receive the rest in Christ by being disobedient. Heb 4:6 The Sabbath is a commandment of God Exo 20:8-11 and exactly what the Israelites disobeyed Eze 20:13 Eze 20:21 and their disobedience led to separation from God (His rest) and we are not to follow their same path of disobedience Heb 4:11 hence why the Sabbath remains for God's people Heb 4:9 as we are to follow God who is Christ who also rested the seventh day Heb 4:4, Exo 20:11, Gen 2:1-3 instead of doing our own thing.

From what I see it's not me disobeying him. I dont mean to cast judgment here. We speak evil many ways. And something the Lord shows me is that is that we are to speak evil of each other. I walk in that myself. But I dont believe it's me who is disobedient.

God showed me many years ago that we should not judge each other over Sabbath but should encourage each other to enter his rest. I submit Romans 14 as God's command. I know his rest isn't on Saturday

And exactly where in Romans 14 does it say we are not to obey the Sabbath commandment?

Your last statement does not appear to be in harmony with God's own Words.

8 “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. 9 Six days you shall labor and do all your work, 10 but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates. 11 For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.

Gen 2:1 Thus the heavens and the earth, and all the host of them, were finished. 2 And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done. 3 Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made.

Hebrews 4:4 For He has spoken in a certain place of the seventh day in this way: “And God rested on the seventh day from all His works”;

God will never lead us away form His Word, that's not God Isa 8:20

In his defense Jesus said to them, “My Father is always at his work to this very day, and I too am working.” For this reason they tried all the more to kill him; not only was he breaking the Sabbath, but he was even calling God his own Father, making himself equal with God.
J 5:17

Here you have God's own words.

Was Jesus doing secular work? Jesus never broke the Sabbath, He was accused of it just like He was accused not being God. But the question was when Jesus rests from His works and the scriptures answers this question shown in post 71 if we are to believe God's own Words. God gives us 6 days to get our secular work done Exo 20:6, only asks for one day back in return. Exo 20:8-11. Obeying God the way He asks is a sign of our allegiance to Him. Eze 20:20

When we don't obey Romans 14 we are in rebellion against him. We are not abiding in the truth or him. He has no fellowship with any darkness so where is our rest? We should not fight God. We will not find our rest by judging each other over this. We speak wickedness all of us. Why should he give us rest? There is no rest for the wicked. God wants love in the spirit. Not the letter but the spirit himself. I'm not saying we disobey God's commandments in the new testament. I'm saying the new testament are his commands. That's the misintry of the Spirit. We follow those things not Moses. God swore we won't enter his rest. Are we hearing and obeying His voice that says he is our rest and that we love each other as he loved us? When we hate each other we hate ourselves. We hate own flesh We hate God who created us. You may say hate is is a hard word but what Is the absence of love? john said he who hates his brother is still in darkness. Surely they will find no rest in that.

Separated from God

Isaiah 59 Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened,
That it cannot save;
Nor His ear heavy,
That it cannot hear.
2 But your iniquities have separated you from your God;
And your sins have hidden His face from you,
So that He will not hear.
3 For your hands are defiled with [a]blood,
And your fingers with iniquity;
Your lips have spoken lies,
Your tongue has muttered perversity.
4 No one calls for justice,
Nor does any plead for truth.
They trust in empty words and speak lies;
They conceive [b]evil and bring forth iniquity.
5 They hatch vipers’ eggs and weave the spider’s web;
He who eats of their eggs dies,
And from that which is crushed a viper breaks out.
6 Their webs will not become garments,
Nor will they cover themselves with their works;
Their works are works of iniquity,
And the act of violence is in their hands.
7 Their feet run to evil,
And they make haste to shed innocent blood;
Their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity;
Wasting and destruction are in their paths.
8 The way of peace they have not known,
And there is no justice in their ways;
They have made themselves crooked paths;
Whoever takes that way shall not know peace.

Sin Confessed

9 Therefore justice is far from us,
Nor does righteousness overtake us;
We look for light, but there is darkness!
For brightness, but we walk in blackness!
10 We grope for the wall like the blind,
And we grope as if we had no eyes;
We stumble at noonday as at twilight;
We are as dead men in desolate places.
11 We all growl like bears,
And moan sadly like doves;
We look for justice, but there is none;
For salvation, but it is far from us.
12 For our transgressions are multiplied before You,
And our sins testify against us;
For our transgressions are with us,
And as for our iniquities, we know them:
13 In transgressing and lying against the Lord,
And departing from our God,
Speaking oppression and revolt,
Conceiving and uttering from the heart words of falsehood.
14 Justice is turned back,
And righteousness stands afar off;
For truth is fallen in the street,
And equity cannot enter.
15 So truth fails,
And he who departs from evil makes himself a prey.

The Redeemer of Zion

Then the Lord saw it, and [c]it displeased Him
That there was no justice.
16 He saw that there was no man,
And wondered that there was no intercessor;
Therefore His own arm brought salvation for Him;
And His own righteousness, it sustained Him.
17 For He put on righteousness as a breastplate,
And a helmet of salvation on His head;
He put on the garments of vengeance for clothing,
And was clad with zeal as a cloak.
18 According to their deeds, accordingly He will repay,
Fury to His adversaries,
Recompense to His enemies;
The coastlands He will fully repay.
19 So shall they fear
The name of the Lord from the west,
And His glory from the rising of the sun;
When the enemy comes in like a flood,
The Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him.
20 “The Redeemer will come to Zion,
And to those who turn from transgression in Jacob,”
Says the Lord.
21 “As for Me,” says the Lord, “this is My covenant with them: My Spirit who is upon you, and My words which I have put in your mouth, shall not depart from your mouth, nor from the mouth of your descendants, nor from the mouth of your descendants’ descendants,” says the Lord, “from this time and forevermore.”

Ok, you are not interacting with the Text and your response does not answer the question where does it say in Romans we can break one of God's finger written commandments. The only way to make that case is by adding our words to His. Something we are warned about Pro 30:5-6

Was God in Genesis?
God gave us the example of the work week from the beginning Gen 2:1-3 and commanded this same pattern to follow Exo 20:8-11 as we are made in His image to follow Him. Jesus working for the good of man every day is not breaking the Sabbath or doing "secular work" We are not God and have to do secular work in order to feed ourselves so God gives us six days to do that Exo 20:9 and only asks for one holy day back dedicated to Him Exo 20:8-11 Isa 58:13, trying to make the case we are equal to God and can disregard one of His commandments, doesn't seem like a good argument.

Isaiah 58 “Cry aloud, [a]spare not;
Lift up your voice like a trumpet;
Tell My people their transgression,
And the house of Jacob their sins.
2 Yet they seek Me daily,
And delight to know My ways,
As a nation that did righteousness,
And did not forsake the ordinance of their God.
They ask of Me the ordinances of justice;
They take delight in approaching God.
3 ‘Why have we fasted,’ they say, ‘and You have not seen?
Why have we afflicted our souls, and You take no notice?’
“In fact, in the day of your fast you find pleasure,
And [b]exploit all your laborers.
4 Indeed you fast for strife and debate,
And to strike with the fist of wickedness.
You will not fast as you do this day,
To make your voice heard on high.
5 Is it a fast that I have chosen,
A day for a man to afflict his soul?
Is it to bow down his head like a bulrush,
And to spread out sackcloth and ashes?
Would you call this a fast,
And an acceptable day to the Lord?
6 “Is this not the fast that I have chosen:
To loose the bonds of wickedness,
To undo the [c]heavy burdens,
To let the oppressed go free,
And that you break every yoke?
7 Is it not to share your bread with the hungry,
And that you bring to your house the poor who are [d]cast out;
When you see the naked, that you cover him,
And not hide yourself from your own flesh?
8 Then your light shall break forth like the morning,
Your healing shall spring forth speedily,
And your righteousness shall go before you;
The glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard.
9 Then you shall call, and the Lord will answer;
You shall cry, and He will say, ‘Here I am.
“If you take away the yoke from your midst,
The [e]pointing of the finger, and speaking wickedness,
10 If you extend your soul to the hungry
And satisfy the afflicted soul,
Then your light shall dawn in the darkness,
And your [f]darkness shall be as the noonday.
11 The Lord will guide you continually,
And satisfy your soul in drought,
And strengthen your bones;
You shall be like a watered garden,
And like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail.
12 Those from among you
Shall build the old waste places;
You shall raise up the foundations of many generations;
And you shall be called the Repairer of the Breach,
The Restorer of [g]Streets to Dwell In.
13 “If you turn away your foot from the Sabbath,
From doing your pleasure on My holy day,
And call the Sabbath a delight,
The holy day of the Lord honorable,
And shall honor Him, not doing your own ways,
Nor finding your own pleasure,
Nor speaking your own words,
14 Then you shall delight yourself in the Lord;
And I will cause you to ride on the high hills of the earth,
And feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father.
The mouth of the Lord has spoken.”

I'm giving his word to them. Can you hear God's voice? We have all become blind and deaf. He hides his face from us. We must turn back to the Lord so he can heal us.
