I might be more direct. If Trump had kept out of the process of proposing and backing candidates, the Republicans had a much better chance of winning control of the Senate. And yes, the key competitive states were

To gain control, the Republicans needed four. I don't think that it is hindsight to say that Trump's influence hurt their chances. They got two.

Even in GA, Trump might have privately suggested that he run, and then stayed away. Trump tried to mess with the races of governor, SOS and senate. He needed to just stay out. If Trump was never mentioned, and Walker supported Kemp throughout the process, Walker might very well have won in the general. He came very close. If Republicans had one more in the general. Walker would likely have won the runoff.

Republican or democrat, Conservative or liberal. Is it really the word that matters to you? I care more about the policies, and I stand with those who promote conservative ones. I know you disagree, so I'll save you the trouble of telling me that.

You were the one touting "Republican gains" in school boards. Pretty hard to do in non-partisan boards.

If the Right successfully takes control of Public Education they’ll eventually shut it down since they’re never get a majority to go along with their teaching-agenda, (mainly that “America is this Great Good that God created for the benefit of the World” and “Sure we had problems when everybody was racist, but that’s all over now.”

They might even go so far as to make reading, math, science, history, and technology a priority over drag-queen story hour, or trying to confuse young children about which sex they are. Wouldn't that be terrible?

Of course, if the Republicans want to self-destruct in 2024, keep doing the same thing.....there are a bunch of Democrat Senators up for election in 2024....will the GOP go with more losing Trump candidates or run a qualified candidate?

It's not like Republicans didn't show up to vote....they did. Some obviously could not support the Trump candidate:

Why? Sinema was presumably facing a very tough primary battle, and the goal of this was to force the Democrats to not field anyone against her or risk splitting the field and losing. There is little indication that Manchin has much worry about his primary (the Democrats undoubtedly know he is their only chance at victory) and so there is little reason for him to go Independent.

Practically speaking this doesn't seem like it would do much in congress; she's still going to caucus with the Democrats (and lest anyone say "well she's no longer a Democrat, that's a difference, right?" keep in mind that Bernie Sanders isn't technically a Democrat). The only thing it seems like it would actually affect is the 2024 election if she opts to run again.
