"That was my whole point. It is still to be mortified, daily, continuously."

Christ did not need to be mortified daily, but once and for all, that is how you become alive to righteousness.

It is why and how you can understand all old is passed away, because all became new, and we are risen with Him, so seeing we show the Lords death and rising through ourselves, to say we need to keep killing daily, is not beliving in all being done through Christ which is the day star risen in our hearts....

Hebrews 10:20 By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Colossians 2:12 Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.

2 Peter 1:19 We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:

"Again, why must we continue to mortify sin? Because it is there to be done."

Just your words and just your understanding.

It is exhortation to those who have not yet arisen with Christ, and when they are, all is dead and passed away, and on top of that, it is God writing His laws into our heart to keep them, through belief that Christ is riosen from the dead, and when you continue to have to try to mortify, or you fall away into sin ( as is your doctrine) you never believed He rose from the dewad, shown through your life of sin ( as Christ destroyed the works of the devil which are the need for trying to mortify your body)..

1 John 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

Hebrews 10:16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;

"The regenerated believer does not continue in sin! I have not said otherwise."

Of course you constantly keep saying, but are saying nothing through it.

You constantly think we are in the flesh, and will struggle with sin, but that is the exhortation to the many who do nothing of what Jesus did at all, walking as Jesus walked is without sin. That I can say and there is no other walk, and that is how we say we can be without sin.

Ceasing from sin, is the same mind as Christ, as all scripture testifies for us and as told to you, to say you sin and are a believer in Christ blasphemes Christ, because to be a believer in Christ is to testify through your body and life without sin, that Christ is risen in you, ( which is the will of God fulfilled in us/ sanctification, and sinning is not His will for us)..

1 Peter 4:1 Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin;
2 That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.

Then you will receive the reward of unrighteousness Mark Quayle, ( which is the sinning you profess to do and cant cease)

This is your deceivings, this is the false teachers predicted to come to this earth, denying Christ and pretending to believe in Him, many deceivers and many deceived.

The warnings do not speak saying, false teaching of obeying Christ, of never being defiled, of stopping sinning to now receive the reward of righteousness.

But the warnngs are against your doctrine Mark and al who speak like you defending sinning, saying we cant be without sin.

You either can or cannot cease from sin, the way you are trying to uphold ( without the bible in your side) is of not ceasing from sin.

Your wages of sinning are death:

Romans 6:20 For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness.
21 What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death.
22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.
23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

That reward of still doing any unrighteousness ( all unrighteousness is sin) are the ones who beguiling and unstable, who cant cease from sin, they as told, forsake the right way following the way of Balaam, which follows heir unrighteousness and reward of death for that. The born of God does not do any unrighteousness/sin then.

1 John 5:17 All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death.
18 We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.

2 Peter 2:13 And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, as they that count it pleasure to riot in the day time. Spots they are and blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with you;
14 Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children:
15 Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;

Matthew 24:11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

2 John 1:7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

Titus 1:15 Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.
16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.

Again the deceivers crept in, who deny Christ in works of abomination they profess they cant cease from doing, which is their turning of the grace of God into their lust/sin allowance. ( these are the testimonies, and of course it is fulfilled in your "ideas" which again is your denying of Christ as witnessed, just read or do not..

Jude 1:4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

The testimony is they defile the flesh, so unless your words turn around to show we never defile the flesh, then it is proven it is your "teaching" Mark.

Have you forsaken the right way, do you think it is the right way to show we cant be without sin ? Sin is coveting and lying, stealing, anything that can hurt your neighbour, who i is COMMANDED, to love and love works no ill to your neighbour ( ever)

But the brute beasts, speak corruption, so speak on, all the same as you are testified against, that is what these testimonies are for, instead of going after the doctrine of Balaam, which is only evil fruit, to be without the fruit of righteousness, because they do not FEAR GOD....

Jude 1:8 Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities.

Jude 1:10 But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.
11 Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.
12 These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;
So, you are telling me, YOU have ceased entirely from sin. You sin no more. YOU are now living in perfect, constant, continuous obedience. There is no rebellion in you, no selfishness, no self-importance, perfect dependence on Christ, no pressing after self-determination, no sin to be mortified, no pride, no self-pity, no self-justification, perfect obedience to loving God with all your being and loving your neighbor as yourself, considering others to be better than yourself, always doing unto others as you would have them do unto you.

All the remonstrances of Scripture you have quoted to me never apply to you anymore. Is that what you are telling me?

Ha. Let me speak with your wife for about half a minute. No, ten seconds should do it.

1 John 1: "8 If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us."

I think this debate is somewhat easy to resolve, we are not going to get rid of all our sins, but we need to be clean enough of them, the bible clearly states, 'no murderer, liar, homosexual, adulterer, etc' will inherit the kingdom of God. So we need to cut off the 'gross and heavy' stuff out, until the Holy spirit is confortable living with us.

I think what Jesus taught washing the disciples feet is important, 'you are clean because of the word i spoke to you' but they still needed their feet to be cleaned.

1 John 1: "8 If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

Read your own quote, let me help you in what it says, that you have quoted, no need to cover your ears to every other scripture, they go together in harmony.

We confess our sins, and Christ purifies us from all unrighteousness.

1 John 5:17 All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death.
18 We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.

All unrighteousness is sin, what we get purified from, then, being born again, the purification is, they sin not, the wicked one cant touch them any longer, and they are kept from him/sins.

Others, who know the judgement of God, ( NBB) just quoted some of it, are given over by God to a reprobate mind, they remain filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, coveteous, they are full of envy ( they hate the good/ righteous way being taught) they do debate as Mark Quayle is all these examples, are backbiters, hate Gods Holiness, despiteful, proud, invent evil imaginations, show they are disobedient to parents/wife, confirmed covenant breakers of love which works no ill to your neighbour ever, have no natural affection and are the unmerciful..

Romans 1:29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

Continues on, in next chapter of Romans, all are rendered according to our deeds, continuance( not breaking) in well doing seek for honour, but the contentious ( Mark Quayle and friends many are predicted deceiving) do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness ( not purified from all unrighteousness)..

Romans 2:6 Who will render to every man according to his deeds:
7 To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:
8 But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,

Now they do not let themselves be instruments of unrighteousness, no sin, but are instruments of righteousness to God..

Romans 6:13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.

Unbelievers are unrighteousness, and believers/righteousness, has no communion with their darkness ( why 1 John 1 says we cannot fellowship with God and walk in any darkness)..

2 Corinthians 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

This is satan at work lying to the deceived and deceiver, it is all deceivableness of unrighteousness( making them believe they can do hatred/unrighteousness/sin)..

2 Thessalonians 2:9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

Spoken again, and who does not take heed to these warnings of satan at work in all in this world but a fool and despiteful persons ?

But the warning is, take heed, the evil heart of unbelief ( as many are deceived and never were cleaned of all unrighteousness/born again)

They are departed from God, and refuse to be exhorted, being hardened through that deceitfulness of sin ( the devil at work in all now)..

Hebrews 3:12 Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.
13 But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.

Again, the predictions are, they knew the way of righteousness( with no unrighteousness in it) but turned from the Holy commandment ( t go and sin no more/love your neighbour as yourself)

It is also described, why they are cleaned/purified, but do not remain cleaned of all unrighteousness/purified, because once washed, they return to their filth..

2 Peter 2:21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.
22 But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

The calling ( to not turn away from) is Holy, as obedient and not in the former lusts.

Because as told earlier, every man will be judged according by every mans work, so they not only obey, but they also fear..

1 Peter 1:14 As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance:
15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;
16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
17 And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear:

Because we were redeemed with purity, cleaned of all unrighteousness/purified not by corruptible, with with the precious blood of Christ, without spot..

1 Peter 1:19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

Now we see we are purified in our souls in obeying the truth ( done through the Spirit which does no disobey itself) it is sincere love of the brother with a pure/purified heart, which is them born again ( as told earlier) continuing without unrighteousness/sin done on them, or it is in its filth and impure..

1 Peter 1:22 Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:
23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

Now, Mark Quayle, and all who believe/speak likewise, with ignore, contradict, resist, and continue to blaspheme, as that is what we are told, is going on in all of the world ( no surprise and no effect)

They again as testified, give to commandments of men ( to sin is their doctrine) and that is a lie, that turns from the truth ( all as testified here)

But, if they believed their one and only quote, of being purified ( from all unrighteousness) they would see that all things are then pure, to the pure, instead they as also told earlier, are the unbeliever, and nothing can be pure for them then, they have a defiled mind and conscience, they insist they believe in God( Christ) but at the same time deny Him directly, in evil works of abomination, the disobedience they say you do too, and unto every good work instead are reprobate..

Titus 1:14 Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth.
15 Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.
16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.

Mark Quayle, has no decency, so as to research what his one quote is saying, with regards to being purified. Why ?

Maybe, because it then says NOTHING, of his own propaganda, if the world of fallen away "believers" as predicted, could feel shame, they would be very ashamed for their rejecting of all of these verses.

Follow the thread, ( or do not) purify us from all unrighteousness, ( either we then are filled with unrighteousness again, or remain cleaned/purified)..

1 John 1: 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

The pure in heart SEE GOD ( REMEMBER THIS FOR THE END OF THESE WORDS)

Matthew 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

Give no offence to not have Gods ministry blamed through you, approving ourselves, by pureness, by that knowledge of Christ ( turn from mans commandments/knowledge of this world/worldliness) by kindness and love true..

2 Corinthians 6:3 Giving no offence in any thing, that the ministry be not blamed:
4 But in all things approving ourselves as the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses,
5 In stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labours, in watchings, in fastings;
6 By pureness, by knowledge, by long suffering, by kindness, by the Holy Ghost, by love unfeigned,

As it is a commandment of God, to have charity out of a pure heart, of a good conscience, not turning aside to the vain jangling of men..

1 Timothy 1:5 Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned:
6 From which some having swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling;

To hold fast this mystery of the faith of Christ in the pure conscience, not being partaker of their sins, keeping ourselves pure ( keeping pure can hardly be becoming filled with unrighteousness/doing again).

1 Timothy 3:9 Holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience.

1 Timothy 5:22 Lay hands suddenly on no man, neither be partaker of other men's sins: keep thyself pure.

The Apostles ( who the followers of satan say is an example of sinning) serve God with pure conscience, as Paul always had a conscience, without offence to God or man..

2 Timothy 1:3 I thank God, whom I serve from my forefathers with pure conscience, that without ceasing I have remembrance of thee in my prayers night and day;

Acts 24:16 And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void to offence toward God, and toward men.

That is why, and how, the warnings continue from the Apostle, for us to follow righteousness, charity, calling on God is with a pure heart..

2 Timothy 2:22 Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

We draw near then to God, with a true heart, our hearts are sprinkled/cleaned, from the evil conscience many are still in, the washing of our bodies was with pure water, so we hold fast without wavering..

Hebrews 10:22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.
23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

This then, is the pure religion, without being defiled before God, ( many remain defiled as they are deceived through sin) we keep ourselves unspotted from their wicked world..

James 1:27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

All this is the wisdom from above ( which they resist with the wisdom of this world that is their foolishness only) as the wisdom from above has what they do not speak, easy to intreat all, gentleness, peace, full of mercy and good instead of filled still with all unrighteosness as they profess they remain stuck, but all is now pure FIRST, which is without their hypocrisy of being partial..

James 3:17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

Our pure minds are stirred up by the Apostles. Every man that has this hope, purifies themselves, even as Christ is pure, because the ones who do righteousness, then are righteous, even as Christ is righteous...

2 Peter 3:1 This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance:

1 John 3:3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.

1 John 3:7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.
8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

Finally, and I said remember the pure in heart shall see God.

The pure river runs into man, the rivers of living water flowed out of the belly of Christ, for those that believe on Him ( rising from the dead to righteousness with us, up away from the death which sin brings/brought) to receive the Holy Ghost which shows Jesus glorified in us.

Then, the pure in heart have seen God, as that is how they shall see His face, because His name ( the name of Christ) is written in our foreheads, and then, blessed are those pure in Heart seeing God, blessed is he that keeps the sayings of the prophecy of the book...

John 7:38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
39 (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)

Revelation 22:1 And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.

Revelation 22:4 And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.

Revelation 22:7 Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.

The sayings are summed up for us, right until this end, the unjust (knowing no shame) remain in their filth ( remember the sow washed returns to her wallowing in the mire) but the righteous and Holy remain purified/cleaned from all sin, because, that is the only way all makes sense/truth, that every man is given according as our work shall be..

Revelation 22:11 He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.
12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.

Now, the whole part the deceived/deceiver must avoid, is their own words, that is why we all give account for our words on judgement day, to be condemned or justified by them.

Quoting us being purified ( from all unrighteousness) but no attempt to try to understand what that means/is saying, is misleading at the very best.

I quoted one above, how we are redeemed with the precious blood of the Lamb, which is without spot, they should really try not to blaspheme on that testimony...

1 Peter 1:18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;
19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

Looking on then, what this without spot, means for us ?

Also, what does it mean, for these who go on forums for many years daily, but seem to have no time /patience, or interest, or need, in the words of God that save the soul ? Instead, as easily seen and completely proven, choose their own words and reasonings they use to deceive the deceived.

The church God will receive, is the only one that is without spot( for all in a church that is on earth, it is not yours that is glorious) but the church is God dwelling in a man that separates from the sinners...

2 Corinthians 6:17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.

Revelation 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

Ephesians 5:27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

Flee satan's sins and sin teachers everywhere on earth, they are rebuked, follow righteousness, the meek will inherit, through godliness which is love, without their hateful working ill of their neighbour, we keep this commandment of God without spot to be unrebukable..

1 Timothy 6:11 But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.
13 I give thee charge in the sight of God, who quickeneth all things, and before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession;
14 That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ:

Now the precious blood of Christ ( without spot) offered Himself without spot, and that is what purges our conscience from the dead works of sinning/ doing any unrighteousness, to now serving God in righteousness( no you cant serve two masters, or be darkness and light).

Hebrews 9:14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

So we look for the destruction of all things, so the dilligent look to be found in peace of Him, which is easily now understood, to be without spot and without blame..

2 Peter 3:14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.

But yes, the other to always know, is men now are lovers of their own selves, and all these testimonies/ the words of God, are not for them, but this one is, that they are the spots( who reject being without spot/purified/ without doing unrighteousness) as they do not FEAR, so are without good fruit, because you can only be good fruit or evil fruit..

Jude 1:12 These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;

Matthew 7:18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

We are comforted knowing that Jesus had the same feelings as our infirmities, and that we have the grace to run to in times of trouble.

Apart from that, moves such as your expressed celibacy, ( making ourselves eunuch for the Kingdom of Heavens sake) placing our care on others ( such as animals and not eating them) takes us away from lusts, as they are not interesting to us when our heart is enlarged to care and love.

Hebrews 4:15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

2 Corinthians 6:9 As unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and, behold, we live; as chastened, and not killed;
10 As sorrowful, yet alway rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.
11 O ye Corinthians, our mouth is open unto you, our heart is enlarged.
12 Ye are not straitened in us, but ye are straitened in your own bowels.
13 Now for a recompence in the same, (I speak as unto my children,) be ye also enlarged.

1 Corinthians 7:32 But I would have you without carefulness. He that is unmarried careth for the things that belong to the Lord, how he may please the Lord:

13 I give thee charge in the sight of God, who quickeneth all things, and before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession;

Jude 1:12 These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;

Matthew 7:18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

While you go on and on about your theory of sinlessness, still you have not answered me:

Are you telling me this? "So, you are telling me, YOU have ceased entirely from sin. You sin no more. YOU are now living in perfect, constant, continuous obedience. There is no rebellion in you, no selfishness, no self-importance, perfect dependence on Christ, no pressing after self-determination, no sin to be mortified, no pride, no self-pity, no self-justification, perfect obedience to loving God with all your being and loving your neighbor as yourself, considering others to be better than yourself, always doing unto others as you would have them do unto you."

Again, 1 John 1: "8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us."

4 But in all things approving ourselves as the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses,
5 In stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labours, in watchings, in fastings;

6 From which some having swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling;

2 Timothy 1:3 I thank God, whom I serve from my forefathers with pure conscience, that without ceasing I have remembrance of thee in my prayers night and day;

Your words are too kind.

You have repeatedly ignored that I repeatedly tell you, that I do not claim it is ok to sin. Yet you continue to call me (and here you include my brothers) blasphemers.

But you repeatedly fail to show where your reasoning has any practical application in your own case: You imply sinlessness following rebirth, but you won't answer me: Are you sinless, contrary to 1 John 1:8?

This is ALL I have been getting at —that we are not without sin.

Well, this has gone on long enough. God bless you, man.

Of course it's possible.
1 Corinthians 10:13
There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

Those who say they "cannot" are like a runner in a marathon and as soon as the race starts they throw themselves on the floor saying they "cannot".

Whe have to understand the severity of God and fear the Lord. Especially sinners "For the most High hateth sinners".

And those who sin cannot teach nor preach because, if you are a hypocrite you are not a christian.
Romans 2:21
Thou therefore which teachest another, teachest thou not thyself? thou that preachest a man should not steal, dost thou steal?

James 2:10
"For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all."

"And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God"

Now I know, "Jesus Christ is come in the flesh" He sinneth Not proving it is possible, and we should follow Him as Christians, walk with Him.

“If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.”

I did not answer you, that is correct, because Gods word answers for us, if I answer it is only for strife, and debate, so lets break it down.

1: "Ceased entirely from sin."

As Dadabrothers said, we follow Christ's example on earth of without sin, and are told here exactly, that armed with the same mind as Christ, we cease from sin

1 Peter 4:1 Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin;

2. "perfect, constant, continuous obedience"

The ones who obey/ keep His word, have the love of God perfected in him, that is how anyone knows that God is in them..

1 John 2:5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.

3. "There is no rebellion in you, no selfishness, no self-importance"

To begin the narrow path few find, realize, many DO NOT deny themselves, so they will soon deny Christ. They will be denied by Christ for doing that, to every one of them, so that shows we cannot ever deny Christ once we begin waking with Him, and we be dead with Him as told, which means not returning to any life of the previous rebellion and selfishness.

Here is Gods thoughts on your rebellion:

1 Samuel 15:23
For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the Lord, he hath also rejected thee from being king.

Proverbs 17:11 An evil man seeketh only rebellion: therefore a cruel messenger shall be sent against him.

Jeremiah 28:16 Therefore thus saith the Lord; Behold, I will cast thee from off the face of the earth: this year thou shalt die, because thou hast taught rebellion against the Lord.

Matthew 10:33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.

Matthew 16:24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

2 Timothy 2:
11 It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him:
12 If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:

4. "no sin to be mortified, no pride, no self-pity, no self-justification"

As said already, we be dead with Christ, to live with Him, it is a belief, and it is a lack of belief to think Christ has to constantly die.

You associate keeping to do mortality on ourselves, yet we be dead with Christ is the testimony. Now read blasphemer ( yes and all your brothers with your opinions in this entire world) Christ does not offer Himself often to death, or He would have then suffered often in your thinking, but once He appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice ( to the death) of Himself ( He died once and we die once with Him APPOINTED TO MEN ONCE TO DIE NOT TO KEEP NEEDING TO MORTIFY/DIE)..

Hebrews 9:
25 Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others;
26 For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.
27 And as it is APPOINTED UNTO MEN ONCE TO DIE, but after this the judgment:

You asked about pride, and that PROVES, pride is not HIDDEN and kept FROM YOU BY GOD..

Job 33:17 That he may withdraw man from his purpose, and hide pride from man.

You say about self justification, yet the word is anti to yours, IT IS GOD THAT JUSTIFIETH..

Romans 8:33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.

5. "loving your neighbor as yourself, considering others to be better than yourself, always doing unto others as you would have them do unto you.""

Last answer for you, now you are really answered.

How do we love ourselves, is it with great care, or we ever fail ourselves?

Ephesians 5:29 For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:

Those people are our own flesh AND ARE Christ's too:

Isaiah 58:7 Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh?

Matthew 25:40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

You ask if we consider others greater than ourselves? This is what is witnessed when they have that same and one mind of Christ in them..

Philippians 2:
2 Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.
3 Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.
4 Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.

5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

Just finish the chapter, and know the outcome, and what you failed ion was taking this seriously:

Philippians 2:12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
14 Do all things without murmurings and disputings:
15 That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;

Can you kindly show me where I have blasphemed? All you have done here is call me and my brothers blasphemers, without so much as a reference to what we actually believe and say. I asked you if you are perfect in all your ways, and give some examples of how you may have failed, stumbled, or whatever other words you want to use there to avoid saying sin, and you will not answer me, but go off into verbal violence and quoting scripture as though we (I) disagree with it. You won't show exegesis, hermeneutics, even context, and hardly any line of reasoning to support that these passages condemn me. (Edit: removed comment possibly considered in conflict with rules) At this point it is getting difficult to even take you seriously.

So you refuse to answer the question: ARE YOU WITHOUT SIN?

I think it's because of this Mark:
"the teachings about 'the old man' within us"
If the old man is still within you, you can sin, but I recommend you mortify him, once and for all, and be born again as a new creature, pure, so you can see God, and keep it that way, dont go back to your own vomit (sin).

And you gave the ideia of mortifying multiple times, this is like killing Christ multiple times ( not allowed ).
Christ died for our sins once, and all we have to do is keep pure to see God, and never sin again.
“God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?”

Honestly, as a recent member I want to hear what prophecyuk said ( yes, don't sin, you can do it) I don't want to be discouraged from righteousness when I come here, dont tell me I can't do it, or that I will never make it, why would you say that?!
I fell, I got back up.
“For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.”

You didn't comment on the fact that he will not tell me he himself is without sin. THIS is my only point: That nobody but Christ is without sin. All my (and his) descriptions are peripheral, and apparently more rhetorical or merely semantics than substantive.

This should not be a discouragement, but an encouragement to press on. It is simple truth that nobody is without sin, but he wants to call it blasphemy.

Recently I woke to the Truth like it says in the Bible: "Awake to righteousness, and sin not[...]"
And I did very well for a month, I went from smoking every day to not smoking at all, and stopped other sins too. (Glory to God)
But as I kept studying the Word, I realized there is adultery at heart, and also murder at heart and I found these two simply impossible to obey, at least for me.
Sometimes it just slips out, I dont necessarily want to commit them, but, sometimes a girl my age more naked than covered, it happens, and when I see a dude with a mask, sometimes I start thinking to myself: " Wow, what a F# Id!" And it's only afterwards that I realize It is a sin and I should not be thinking this if im in Christ, right?
If Im walking in the Spirit, If im "Awake to righteousness[...] ", I should not be sinning, right ?
Or is it that I dont have Christ in me yet ? Maybe im not saved that's why I can sin.
I would say only Jesus Christ is sinless. We can only sin.. less.
So, my question Is it really possible to not sin at all? If not, How can I say im saved, or call myself a Christian if I commit sin everyday ?
Hello DaDaBrothers, if you don't mind me asking, how you have you gone from a clear understanding on Wednesday that, as a Christian, you still sin, to apparently believing that you don't sin (as that's what you seem to be saying in this post from earlier today .. see below) :scratch:
I think it's because of this Mark:
"the teachings about 'the old man' within us"
If the old man is still within you, you can sin, but I recommend you mortify him, once and for all, and be born again as a new creature, pure, so you can see God, and keep it that way, dont go back to your own vomit (sin).

And you gave the idea of mortifying multiple times, this is like killing Christ multiple times ( not allowed ).

Thanks :)

--David
p.s. - I have several other questions for you, but for now my one final thought is this, since God, through the pen of the Apostle Paul, wrote this,

2 Corinthians 5
17 If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come,

why do you think that He later wrote (in subsequent Epistles by the same Apostle) commands to us such as these?

Romans 6
12 Do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its lusts,
13 and do not go on presenting the members of your body to sin as instruments of unrighteousness; but present yourselves to God as those alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God.

Romans 12

1 I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship.
2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.

Ephesians 4
22 You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires;
23 to be made new in the attitude of your minds;
24 and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.
25 Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to his neighbour, for we are all members of one body.
26 “In your anger do not sin”: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry,
27 and do not give the devil a foothold.
28 He who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work, doing something useful with his own hands, that he may have something to share with those in need.
29 Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.
30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
31 Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice.
32 Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.

IOW, why do you think that God gave us these (present tense/ongoing) commands (to not sin), if what He meant in the earlier Epistle (2 Corinthians 5:17) was that those who are His, those who have been born again and made new creatures in Christ, CANNOT sin?

"So you refuse to answer the question: ARE YOU WITHOUT SIN?"

If you want more answers ( and I answer as I want, the same as you do)

Here is another answer for mister blind to all scripture but one verse, Mark Quayle.

I am not the example in the scriptures of the Apostles, they are the example, and thew were without sin, ceased completely from sin, were dead to sin, did righteousness, and did no unrighteousness ever, that is born again.

As for DaDaBrothers, beginning to search for the right path, is a perfect way to be, even according to Mark Quayle's little doctrine, of one verse of confessing our sins to be cleaned of all unrighteousness.

I hear the words about questioning if the Holy Spirit was there/ if saved. Now it is time, to wake up to rightteosness alright, and maybe notice this is why Go has arranged this great battle here, at the right time to be answered, lets see who prevails. Awaking from the dead) sinning) is better than never waking at all, remaining dead in their sins/denying Christ by works of evil they blatantly do/support.

Now, as for answering what is asked, this shows Mark Quayle's ignorance yet again, (blaspheming by believing in none of the righteous testimonies shown to him, but acting as if they mean nothing against his sin doctrine, which many hold because it is the end of the world and many deceivers risen up as God told us).

So, directly answering, if we speak of ourselves, we seek for ourselves, but if God speaks for us, then we be true, and bnotice, then no unrighteousness/sin is in us.

The same was taught in Proverbs, to not boast of tomorrow, ( if we shall live or not) but we let sanother man prause us/speak of us, and not our own mouth, a stranger and not our own lips.

Continues down in James, to not boast with our own mouth, but only say, we live if the Lord will, and if we know to do the good, to not boast with our own mouth, but let God speak for us( He speaks for us on hudgement day if we be saved or not) otherwise our boastings are evil, which is sin, and the wages of that sin is death..

John 7:18 He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him.

Proverbs 27:1 Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.
2 Let another man praise thee, and not thine own mouth; a stranger, and not thine own lips.

James 4:13 Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain:
14 Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.
15 For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that.
16 But now ye rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil.
17 Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.

Now back on topic, it is not a personal word, it is is it possible to not sin at all?

So the Apostles are our true examples, if they did sin such as fornication, caveting, stealing, lying,,,,,,, we would see it, and Apostle Paul is our detailed example, of never doing these things.

1 John 1, says to confess our sins and be cleaned of all unrighteousness.

Mark Quayle claims this is not for being without doing unrighteousness, ( ignoring the words in the chapter of not able to fellowship with God unless of the light as the Apostles were, to be as God in light without any darkness.

Then, we see the witness, the Apostles did behave holy, justly, which is unblamably, which is told to be walking worthy of God calling us to His glory ( in the light)

1 Thessalonians 2:10 Ye are witnesses, and God also, how holily and justly and unblameably we behaved ourselves among you that believe:
11 As ye know how we exhorted and comforted and charged every one of you, as a father doth his children,
12 That ye would walk worthy of God, who hath called you unto his kingdom and glory.

The words do come directly to these, showing the same path the Apostles took, is for us ( as is the same walk Jesus walked for the Apostles, and for us too)

Through the death of Jesus, this is what presents us, to be unblamable and holy too( which as witnssed, is (BEHAVING UNBLAMABLY, JUSTLY AND HOLY AMONG THE BELIEVERS).

This is our hearts stablished by God, not in the vain doctrine of sin, but as taught and exampled, unblamable in holiness..

Colossians 1:22 In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:

1 Thessalonians 3:13 To the end he may stablish your hearts unblameable in holiness before God, even our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all his saints.

I told Mark Quayle the typical ignorer, about his own one verse, saying, we are purified, and to look up in all verses what this says.

Again I have to point it out for him ( seems so silly when he relies on one verse for his doctrine and he wont see any other verses) How the things that are pure, are these:

"Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you."

PhiliPpians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever THINGS ARE JUST, whatsoever THINGS ARE PURE, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
9 Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.

You see, the self answering, is not only not the way to matter, it is also a misleading question. What the Apostles did, is the example to follow, or fail. Apostles Paul then we hear, kept himself to always have a conscience, without offences caused to God or man.

It is also a command ( of God) to withdraw from every disorderly brother, they reject the walk of the Apostles and also insist they are sinners, when we hear the testimony is, they did not behave disorderly among the brothers.

Apostle Paul also tells us, not to keep company with a brother who is a fornicator, or covets, drunk, or extortion, or a strifeful person ( such as Mark Quayle in strife) and God says He will judge the unbeliever, so we pout away from ourselves those wicked persons..

Acts 24:16 And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void to offence toward God, and toward men.

2 Thessalonians 3:6 Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us.
7 For yourselves know how ye ought to follow us: for we behaved not ourselves disorderly among you;

1 Corinthians 5:11 But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolator, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.
12 For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within?
13 But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.

Furthermore, then the beseeching continues, how we are to receive of the Apostles, how we should walk to please God, and we need the same sanctification, which is by no fornication, but to be in honour, no lust of the men who know not God, and no defrauding your brother in any matter, because as just told, the Lord will judge all of them and avenge on them, this is all warned of Hi vengeance..

1 Thessalonians 4:1 Furthermore then we beseech you, brethren, and exhort you by the Lord Jesus, that as ye have received of us how ye ought to walk and to please God, so ye would abound more and more.
2 For ye know what commandments we gave you by the Lord Jesus.
3 For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication:
4 That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour;
5 Not in the lust of concupiscence, even as the Gentiles which know not God:
6 That no man go beyond and defraud his brother in any matter: because that the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also have forewarned you and testified.

Now my turn to answer to stworm who asks...

stworm " why do you think that it was necessary for Him to give us present tense (ongoing) commands such as these (about choosing not to sin/about not letting sin "reign" in our lives, about laying aside the old man and continually refusing to allow ourselves to be conformed to this world, about continually choosing to renew our hearts and our minds, about always choosing to be kind to each other and to forgive one another whenever we do sin, etc.), if what He meant in the earlier Epistle to the Corinthians (2 Corinthians 5:17) was that those who are His, who have been born again and made new creatures in Christ by Him, CANNOT sin?"

Laying aside the flesh, would mean a person cant sin, and that is the example we have of Chfistr without sin, and the Apostles now too.

Here in Romans 7, Paul remembering when we were in the flesh, ( in the first covenant is that way spoken of) sin brought fruit to death for all in Adam.

Now in Christ all are made alive, by the newness of the Spirit in us.

Sin, in the previous covenant and commandment, gave all ways of bad deeds in man ( all in Adam die) deceived all men and killed all men as testified.

We are exhorted to not let an evil heart of unbelief be in us, being hardened through that same deceitfulness of sin.

Romans 5, then teaches us how death passes on all ( for being in the flesh as Paul speaks of again in Romans 7) and the obedience of Christs reigns for us, of righteousness to life ( no more unrighteousness or they are yet in the flesh/unbelief, for being in Adams ways yet, and not in Christs ways now instead)..

1 Corinthians 15:22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

Romans 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

Romans 5:17 For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)
18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.
19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

Romans 7:5-25 When we were in the flesh the motions of sins which were by the law did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death, but now we are delivered from the law that being dead wherein we were held, that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter. Sin taking occasion by the commandment wrought in me all manner of concupicence, deceived me, and by it slew me

[ Hebrews 3:12-13 Take heed that there be not in you an evil heart of unbelief. But exhort one another lest you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin],

Again, Titus, remembers how they once were, being disobedient, deceived, lustsful, serving pleasure/themselves, in envy, hateful instead of love that works no ill to your brother and lays its life down for you ( what perverseness to think love is hurting others) but as confirmed, Paul did all things through Christ who strengthens us, as it makes no sense for the ones not in the flesh to do what the old man does still, so the exhortations are for those who claim to have belief in Christ but are without truth to back it up..

Titus 3:3 We were foolish, disobedient, deceived, lustful and served pleasure, living in malice and envy, hateful and hating one another.

Phillipians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me

David this one verse changed my mind and answered my question:
1 Corinthians 10:13
“There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.”

God doesn't ask the impossible out of us. There is a way to escape every temptation. So it is possible. We can bear it. We have to look for the escape. God demmands we escape sin, and live holy. Alive from the dead. Just like our Lord and Saviour.

It is impossible for one who is born of God to sin. John 5:18

Within each child of God are two natures. There is the old man, and the new man. The new man does not sin, because the new man is born of spirit. A mature Christian is ruled by the new man, and no longer practices sin, having put off the old man. Galatians 4:22

When we sin, it is the old nature that sins. Paul says, "...so it is no longer I that do it, but the sin that dwelleth in me..." Romans 7:17

As long as we are in the flesh, there will be a constant battle against our old nature. But the time is coming when our flesh will also be redeemed, because of the Spirit. Romans 8:11 On that day, we will be free from sin altogether, and the righteousness of Christ that is imputed to us, will become our own righteousness, for we will be like Him, having seen Him as He is. 1 John 3:2 This is our greatest hope.

Until that day, we will continue in sanctification, growing in the grace and knowledge of God, and putting to death the deeds of the body, as the new man begins to take control. And if any of us sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. 1 John 2:1

There should be continual growth in the Christian walk.

But the path of the just is like the shining light, that shines more and more unto the perfect day. Proverbs 4:18

People who say they don't sin are usually defining "sin" very, very narrowly, as the Pharisees did.
Yes, on another site I have talked with one who thinks he is an apostle, and says that I sin, but he only stumbles.

But he at least talks plainly, and doesn't get into this guy's holy place of 'God-speak' and condemnation, while ignoring his own hypocri— no, I take that back, he does ignore his own hypocrisy just as this fellow does.

But it's ok, God uses all kinds to do all sorts of things, and God will use this for good too.
