Uh yeah. Again, you are not reading the Bible in context. Belief Alone-ism or a sin and still be saved type gospel is not what Paul was preaching. The preaching of the cross that perishes foolishness upholds the goodness of God. So you are quoting this verse out of it's context. In 1 Corinthians 3, we learn that the Corinthians are justifying the sins of strife and envy (See: 1 Corinthians 3:3). In Galatians 5:20-21, we know that Paul condemns the sins of strife and envyings and says that they which do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. I could go into a deeper explanation on 1 Corinthians 3, but so far it does not seem like you are actually reading my posts.
John
5:24, KJV: "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall NOTcome into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life." John
3:16 KJV: For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him SHOULD NOT PERISH but HAVE everlasting life. John
6:37-39 KJV All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me. And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again on the last day. John
6:47 KJV: Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life. Hebrews
10:14 KJV By the which will (will of God) we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins: But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins FOR EVER, sat down on the right hand of God; From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool. For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified. Hebrews
10:17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more. Romans
10:10-11 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. If you are trusting in your good works to save you, God calls that sin or iniquity and if you don’t repent, this is what you have to look forward to.. Matthew
7:22-33 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Isaiah 64:6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all OUR righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away. Romans
8:38-39 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 11:6 And if by grace, then is it NO MORE of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then it is no more grace: otherwise work is no more work. Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that NOT OF yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. What about those who backslide? Hebrews
10:38-39 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. But WE (Those who are saved by trusting in Jesus) are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul. If we are in sin - Hebrews 12:6-8 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons. Hebrews
12:11 Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby. Ephesians
1:13-14 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, (having believed you were) ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise. Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the PURCHASED possession, unto the praise of his glory. John
10:28-30 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. I and my Father are one.
