CCW's comment is germane to the picture. Those who hate Trump intensely will vote for anyone else. But there are a lot of people in the middle who are, or who would be should the media ever give Biden's dementia 1/10th the coverage it would get were it Trump's neurological health in question, very alarmed at Biden's state of mind. He clearly is not mentally up to the task of the presidency.

He's no worse in that regard than Trump, so I don't see how it makes a difference.

This article is about the physical health of Biden not about how much you hate Trump. Please go start another thread if you don't have anything constructive to offer.

I think her comment was entirely appropriate-she was answering a poster who argued that Biden could not win since he would be perceived as “unfit”.

She made the obvious and entirely on topic point - Trump is unfit and yet won.

If there was this much concern for the mental health of the presidential candidates in 2016, then we wouldn't have a President who thinks the noise from wind turbines causes cancer and the Continental Army took over airports during the Revolutionary War. According to the current Republican President, there's a border wall surrounding the city of San Antonio, Texas and Paris, France is in Germany.

I don't think they're treated equally in the Dem party either. They don't mind discriminating against Christians only.

I haven't seen that Christians are discriminated against by the Democratic Party.

I'm not making it a whataboutism. Just commenting on the irony of you complaining about how Democrats treat Trump unfairly by attacking him every time he misspeaks, then turning around and doing exactly the same thing to Biden.

However, Trump has never forgot his name, what day of the week it is, or what office he is running for.

No, he's never done those specific things. However, he's messed up other, equally simple, statements and tasks. Note that this is not a defense of Biden. Just an observation that there doesn't appear to be a discernible difference between Biden and Trump when it comes to mental acuity. Therefore, there doesn't seem to be much sense in either side questioning the opposing candidate's fitness for office on those grounds. In other words, if Biden's mental (dis)abilities disqualify him from office in your eyes, then Trump's should disqualify him as well.

I'm thinking that they will use Biden's condition as a way to get a vice-president (who knows who) to take power when it "becomes" a concern out of the blue. Oh wait, I'm giving them ideas.

As long as the media and Trump treats Biden with respect, the way you should treat a man in his late 70s, and they don't make fun and highlight his gaffes, then he should be fine.

I don't understand one thing. Even if one "hates" Trump, wouldn't Trump be better for religious freedom than the Democrats?

I don’t have dementia .. and it was only 3 years ago .. I don’t remember if I had less religious freedom to practice my faith under democrat ( President Obama) any less than now. The idea that under democrat Americans will have less religious freedom is a made up crisis by the right.

Those who has concern about Biden … his gaffe.. how he doesn’t remember .. I would suggest you google up some of the debate highlight between Biden vs Ryan debate from 2012. That debate was tough… Speaker Ryan is one the best debater and a guy who knows his number and policy.. at that time economy was not good.. unemployment was 8% .. 3 consecutive year no GDP growth.. yet Biden won the debate .. google some post-debate spin .. you will see the GPO spine was Biden was disrespectful to Ryan because he was laughing or rolling his eyes while Ryan spoke ( imagine from 2012 to now where we are as nation)
