  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

None of These Diseases: I am the Lord who heals you.

So you also believe that Adam HAD to disobey God in the Garden?
Did God Prophesy hundreds of years before it happened that it would happen?
What kind of religious school teaches the things you come up with ??
(noting you still did not answer the questions, but avoided them again)

You didn't answer the earlier questions.
And I did answer your question.

I answered you with John 20:30-31 and said it was written to the Jews only.

If you don't want to accept my answer, that is fine, but no need to accuse me of not answering your question, when I did.

Now please answer with a clear yes or no to my question to you about Adam.

Did God Prophesy hundreds of years before it happened that it would happen?
Since this question was my answer to you - did you have trouble with it?
(apparently)
So to explain, obviously the answer is no. God did not prophesy hundreds of years before Adam sinned that Adam would sin. Thus God's Word was not BROKEN when Adam sinned.

If the Jews had not rejected Messiah, God's Prophesy that they would reject the Messiah would have been false.

In both cases, God KNEW before creating the earth and everyone and everything in it, everything everyone would do. He knew Adam would sin, and planned redemption through Jesus Christ and His Blood because of this.
God KNEW the Jews would reject Jesus the Messiah, and PLANNED for the redemption of the gentiles perfectly with all this known ahead of time.

Now please answer with a clear yes or no to my question to you about Adam.
You keep avoiding the questions that expose your errors, and have not answered them yet, even now.

Okay, so you believe Adam had the free choice to make in the Garden.

So I am saying, likewise, the Jews had the free choice to make during the 4 Gospels. That is what those signs Jesus performed, 8 of them recorded in the Gospel of John were for, to allow Jews to exercise their free choice.

We have the benefit of hindsight, seeing that the Jewish nation has made the choice to reject Jesus.

WE did not have any hindsight needed at all.
Those Jews rejected Jesus,
as GOD KNEW THEY WOULD when HE PLANNED JESUS DEATH AT THEIR HANDS.
GOD PROPHESIED IT WOULD HAPPEN, KNOWING IT ABSOLUTELY ALREADY.
There was ZERO CHANCE of GOD'S WORD being broken. Zero. Absolutely NO CHANCE of God's Word being broken.

and you still did not answer the questions put to you earlier .

No. Did you READ the sign Jesus said they have? The ONLY sign?
About Jonah! The one sign He gave them, and said that was the only sign they would be given.

Then the signs Jesus did do, who were they for? Read what you posted from Scripture - HE SAYS who they were for.

I stand by John 20:30-31 and what I believe the Gospel of John was for.

If you disagree with my belief, I am fine. I am not here to convince you otherwise.

Regardless if you understand that or not,
you still did not answer the questions posted many posts ago - you always avoided the questions so far.

My original point was that the gift of healing was supercharged during the 4 Gospels for a purpose, Jesus was there to convince the Jews that he was their Messiah.

I don't understand why u kept accusing me of avoiding your questions. You want to repeat those questions again?

One final time repeating the questions:
... who does it say "believing ye may have life in his name" to ?
... ... ...
Did you find yet the ONE SIGN Jesus said the Jews who were looking for a sign would have ? ....

Did God Prophesy hundreds of years before it happened that it would happen?

What kind of religious school teaches the things you come up with ??
.....

No where in Scripture is it written that Jesus was there to convince the Jews that He was their Messiah.
The Father gave Him the ones Jesus received, the permanent disciples, and He did not lose any of them except the one for perdition, as written.
The FATHER SAID the other Jews (as a nation, "His Own People") would reject Jesus.
The FATHER told the TRUTH.

One final time repeating the questions:

I already said its to the Jews for your first question, and I used John 20:30-31, as well as the gospel of John, to show you EIGHT signs.

As for your second question, God djd prophesied that the rejection would happen, but it does not mean the Jews did not have the free choice.

We only understood the prophecy on hindsight, as I have already explained to you using Adam's choice in the Garden.

Look, I cannot make you accept my answers, but I have already answered your questions before.

They , like we, had free choice.
The nation, Israel, rejected Jesus as Jesus knew they would.
He did not try to convince them of anything. He simple always did exactly what the Father directed Him to do, regardless of outcome. (even if He knew the outcome, which He did, He did not try to change it)

Matthew 4:17 tells me that he urged the Jews to:

Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.

WONDERFUL ! YES! What did Jesus say about that sign ?

I have already pointed about the scripture there. You can go ahead and read it.

If you disagree with my belief on what the Gospel of John is for, you are free to do so.
