You should include to do “no works at all” false Gospel. That’s the one that guarantees heaven if you say the right words with the right attitude at that point in time, (later attitudes no longer matter) and you needn’t love either God nor man. You don’t need to follow any commandment of Jesus as they’re all that horrible word WORKS.

All false gospels appeal to sinful ways. The easy beliefism one appeals to selfishness. The Catholic works appeals to pride. Actually all false teaching appeals to something evil in people. The truth is appealing only cause it’s truth but supports nothing sinful.

God is a jealous God and he wants the glory of our salvation to be fully his. If he wants all the glory, let him do all the work. =)

If not, can you imagine how "irritating" it will be in heaven whenever we bump to our fellow brothers and sisters and have them keep telling us, "Guess what I also did to secure my place in heaven"? =)

That is why scripture also say that, we will be casting all our crowns before Jesus and be fully convinced that it was his grace and not any of our works.

Why did He actually tell us to “work out your salvation with fear and trembling?”. Where does he say he’s jealous of someone else getting the glory of our salvation?

If he wants all the glory, let him do all the work. =)
He doesn’t.

That’s silly. No one who obeys the living God says that.
That is why scripture also say that, we will be casting all our crowns before Jesus and be fully convinced that it was his grace and not any of our works.
None who let him “do it all” will have a crown to cast. They will be like the servant who went and hide what he was given instead of work for the Master.

What is it when people have faith in the word of God, but they do not put their faith in the Law of God when the Word of God and the Law of God are the exactly the same?
It show they do NOT have faith in the word of God.

"He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions." (Psam107:20)
Does the Word of God heal us or are we healed when we do what the Word of God tells us to do?
Yes.
If we do what he tells us to do, we shall be healed...(in this case of sin)

Actually our God is a prosperity God. Even under the law of Moses, financial and health prosperity was promised to all who obey but taken away from those who disobey.
Deuteronomy 28 is the clearest scripture in this.

ironically, under our so called better covenant, Some people think it’s reverse, prosperity becomes a curse while sickness is a blessing
That might make a good new thread...?

work out is very different from work for.

My point was in the context of rightly dividing the word of God, with regards to the book of James
With that in mind, who is the Israel of the NT?
Aren't the children of God the people of every country who submit to God?
What commandment to the Jews are not also to the Americans or Dutch?
Isn't the law of God summed up with...Love God above all else and love your neighbor as you love yourself?

Perhaps you are honing in on some other point?

Replacement theology says the Body of Christ (BOC) has replaced physical Israel in God's eyes, thus the book of James, which was directed to the latter, is also directed to the BOC.

Others disagree with RT, and hence keep the BOC and Israel separate.

What’s the difference? The general theology often espoused is not work at all.

I don't see anyone saying that. You don't work for your salvation, that is the point.

You are already saved no matter what you do. That is giving glory to Jesus's finished work.

As far as anything that could even be considered a "work" goes, like faith, believing, doing and being good, etc, if you are the sole one solely responsible for that work, then your work, or works are futile and in vain, and are fueled by pride, something God detests and hates, and are of the false self-efforts and self-works only gospel or Pharisitical crowd...

If however you are "only doing what you ought to have done in the first place", before/after you came to believing, etc, and/or your only doing it them, (good work or works or trying to do and be good), only out of reciprocated love and great gratitude alone, and it is not a burden for you either, etc, and you are not coming down upon others in condemnation and judgment all the time, etc, and you yourself are not solely responsible for those works, etc, and there is no "pride" involved, etc, then you are probably doing works "the right way", but, any "other way", and your probably following a false gospel, and are a false one, etc, etc, etc...

God Bless!

I’ll find the poster who recently write we should let God do it all. And besides, let’s get down to it, what work do you require of yourself to be working OUT your own salvation? What work qualifies as “working out” but clearly it working for.

And if a saved man starts to do evil, he is not giving glory to Jesus‘ finished work in anyone’s eyes, but really dishonoring him in the eyes of all who oberserve this behavior.

Jesus said whoever gives a little one even a cup of cold water won’t lose their reward. He doesn’t seem to subscribe to your “attitude requirement” nor does he hate if one does so out of pride (as though that’s something one can be proud of.) I’m very sure the thirsty one doesn’t care a rap if the giver is proud.

K, I'm gonna make sure I give a thirsty person, a believer, one drink at least once in my life, but then go out and live however I would like and would want the rest of my life, and no matter how that is, if I'm spreading a false gospel, or "whatever" for the rest of my life, not treating others right, or am living and walking in pride, judging and condemning others, etc, etc, etc, anyway, live and be "however", knowing that just because I did that one good thing that one time, my salvation is eternally secured forever completely regardless...

And God does most certainly hate the proud and arrogant, and haughty self-assuming, etc... Hates them and detests their acts...

Or, why is it that you take offense...? Is it maybe because your own attitude is not exactly right maybe...?

God Bless!

Jesus didn’t say he goes to heaven who gives little one a drink. Calm down!

Never says different. But i’ve never met anyone who was proud or arrogant about giving a child a drink.
Or, why is it that you take offense...?
I’m taking no offense. You’re adding to my words.

Ah, the ad hominem usually employed when insecure people are losing. They murdered jesus for the same reason so take care:
God Bless!
Do you think this makes your personal attack OK?

I was being sarcastic... A way of mocking, I'm not getting upset... But, I do apollogize if it's means anything to you...

Never says different. But i’ve never met anyone who was proud or arrogant about giving a child a drink.

It says one of these little ones, not literal child or children, or even literal water, meaning little ones in the faith, and it can also be referring to spiritual drink as well...

But, even if we were to take it all to literally, don't you think a person can be kind or do a simple act of kindness in one instance, and turn around and be very unkind in others or in many other areas or in many other instances...? Do you agree with that or not...? or be a very unkind person most of the time or in general in many other areas or instances, etc...? And I ask if that should not ever matter or not, etc...?

I’m taking no offense. You’re adding to my words.

I think you were taking some kind of personal offense, but whatever...

Ah, the ad hominem usually employed when insecure people are losing. They murdered jesus for the same reason so take care:

Ha, your funny, very funny...

Do you think this makes your personal attack OK?

I only asked the question, your the one who's taking offense...

And I only asked you to ask yourself why that is, so...?

God Bless!

What does the above mean?
Grace Evangelical Society, they're one of those denominations accused of "easy believism". They also preach that repentance, which I believe is a work of the Holy Spirit turning us from our sin (John 16:8-9) does not need to come before salvation. They also teach that you can be saved believing in Jesus without even knowing that Christ died for your sins. And also that sin does not need to be mentioned in the salvation message. Just to name a few of their aberrations, but there are more.
