Does he think he can order American companies to do things?
I wasn't aware that the president of the USA can order companies on such things.
I'm ready for the defenders to come in and tell us all he doesn't really mean order.Constitution, Schmonstitution.
That will be a pain for cancer patients."Also, I am ordering all carriers, including Fed Ex, Amazon, UPS and the Post Office, to SEARCH FOR & REFUSE,........all deliveries of Fentanyl from China (or anywhere else!). "
What?
That will be a pain for cancer patients.
Literally.
Always safe to double-check.Well, beyond that, I don't think it's the job of those carriers to do that. Isn't it customs that inspects packages? I could be wrong.
Always safe to double-check.
Well, sucks to be them, the president gave an order.Actually, safety is a big issue. Customs has the proper equipment and procedures to check for things. If UPS, FedEx and other carriers do not, you could literally have people die by being exposed to drugs. I don't believe they are typically responsible for that and everything goes through other inspection.
The yield curve dipped again yesterday. Corporate loans are defaulting at a higher rate, too.As we have the academic fight over the predictability of the yield curve, increased tariffs will continue to negatively affect the world economy.
He can't. It was a moronic, delusional tweet.
That part was "just a joke." You know, Trump just joking too see if those not loyal to him would react negatively. Like every other asinine statement he's made since announcing his candidacy.I'm ready for the defenders to come in and tell us all he doesn't really mean order.
In a series of tweets, [Trump] expresses frustration with China, and says, “Our great American companies are hereby ordered to immediately start looking for an alternative to China.”
Sounds like he's got everything under control.
Does he think he can order American companies to do things?
“My only question is, who is our bigger enemy, Jay Powell or Chairman Xi?” Trump tweeted
[whom should I blame? China or the US Federal Reserve Chair? ....decisions, decisions]
In another tit-for-tat response, China has formally announced additional tariffs on US products.
Yes. He’s Donald Trump. He calms the raging seas and keeps the planes in the air... mostly.Does he think he can order American companies to do things?
