  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

WHO IS GOD'S TRUE CHURCH ACCORDING TO GOD'S WORD?

Such a clever reply.

Not loving others is simply conforming to the deeds of the flesh.

I was just trying to show that there are things we can do that are not based on loving others, and yet is not sinful.

As you wrote the following, could you answer my three questions please:

''''Here is an easy sin to observe and a very serious sin. This sin has caused wars, brutality, exclusion by even race, split families, caused divorce, e.t.c.

Creating factions, divisions within the Christian world, generating denominations that differ from one or more,
other denominations in Christianity.''''

So you commit sin if you join any particular denomination, for then you are part of a faction?
You commit sin if you debate on the internet, for that produces division?
What if you do not belong to any denomination, are you off the hook?
I have already told you the answer to your question.

Did you join a denomination or are you yoked to Christ?

Do you call yourself a Christian or do you call yourself something else, a factional name for example?

Not really Steve , what problem do I have? I have only posted God's WORD.
Maybe you need to get a sense of humor? Do you have a scripture for that?

I refer you to my previous answer to you
Galatians 5:19-20
Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are: immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions...

This is a re-post from the previous page as I thought it relavent here.

No one is saved or do they remain in a justified state before God by following after God's LAW. The role of God's LAW is to give us the KNOWLEDGE of GOOD and EVIL; SIN AND RIGHTEOUSNESS *ROMANS 3:20; ROMANS 7:7; JAMES 2:9-11; PSALMS 119:172. They make nothing perfect but show us who we all are, sinners in need of a Savior. They lead us to Christ that we might be FORGIVEN by faith and lead us to depend soley on the WORD of GOD for salvation.

The FRUIT of true faith however is LOVE and LOVE results in OBEDIENCE to God's LAW *ROMANS 13:8-10; ROMANS 3:31; JOHN 14:15; 1 JOHN 2:3-4. If your faith does not have the fruit of OBEDIENCE that works by LOVE, JAMES says it is dead and not saving faith *JAMES 2:18-20;26.

No one is in a justified state before GOD if they are continuing in a life of KNOWN UNREPENTANT SIN because they have rejected the gift of God's dear son neither do they know GOD or have his Spirit and are in danger of the judgment to come. *HEBREWS 6:4-8; 1 JOHN 2:3-4; ACTS 2:38; HEBREWS 10:26-27; ROMANS 6:23.

We are told in the last days many will have a form of Godliness but will deny the power thereof from such turn away 2 TIMOTHY 3:1-5.

God's power is to save us from sin it is not for us to continue in sin. If we continue in known unrepentant sin we will die because we reject the gift of God's dear son and deny God's power to save us from our sins. *ROMANS 6:23; JOHN 8:31-36

The scripture cannot save, the scripture simply announces the advent of Jesus Christ.

Do you depend on the Son or do you depend on the scripture?

The scripture cannot save, the scripture simply announces the advent of Jesus Christ.

Read the scriptures what do they say and who's WORDS are they? How can you believe and depend on the Son if you do not depend and believe on his Word?

Thanks for the advice, all you need to do is find where in any of my posts. That I promoted a factional organization instead of Jesus, where have I claimed anything, but the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ?

My role is to correct all factions and press them into one faith, one baptism, one ultimate doctrine.

Do you have a brand name, are you involved in a division, a faction?
