Paul Manafort has agreed to cooperate with Robert Mueller

The former Trump campaign chair appeared in court and pleaded guilty Friday.
It finally happened — Paul Manafort flipped.

The former Trump campaign chair appeared in court in Washington on Friday and pleaded guilty to a reduced set of charges. And as part of his plea deal with special counsel Robert Mueller’s team, prosecutors said, Manafort agreed to cooperate with the investigation.

It’s enormously important news for the Russia investigation. Many have long speculated that the special counsel’s main aim in charging Manafort with financial and lobbying crimes was to pressure him to “flip” — so he’d agree to provide information related to their true concern of whether the Trump campaign conspired with Russia to interfere with the election.

Now, it’s happened. And that should make President Donald Trump very nervous indeed.
...

The deal marks the end of one phase of the Mueller investigation. Manafort’s prosecution was the most visible activity of the special counsel’s office so far. It also appeared to be part of an initial stage of the investigation that involved trying to get key Trump aides to flip by charging them with false statements or financial crimes.

All of which poses the question: What’s coming next?

The liberals should be very nervous because judgement begins with the house of God and then the world will be judged. They set their own standard to be used when they are judged. There is going to be a big shake up after the mid term. You can tell how big it is going to be by looking at their efforts to try to stop it. "For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you." Matthew 7:2 People have to live by the standard that they set for others. IF they set a high standard then that is the standard that they have to live by.

Manafort and Trump aren't liberals. They don't seem to have any ideology but "what's in it for me?"

They set their own standard to be used when they are judged.

They thought they were. But as you see, there is always a reckoning. Whether or not Trump has actually done something indictable remains to be seen. But as more and more evidence comes out, it looks really bad for him, right now.

There is going to be a big shake up after the mid term.

It's not a done deal. The republican might lose the House, but they'll probably hang onto the Senate, because so many seats up for election are now held by democrats.

I would be really disappointed if the first thing the House did was start impeachment proceedings. The first order of business is to get into the secrets republican chairmen were hiding, and to air out the "investigations" that were managed to protect the guilty. When we get that mess straightened out, then maybe impeachment is called for.

You can tell how big it is going to be by looking at their efforts to try to stop it.

Trump's rather intemperate wails of impending doom are understandable, but it will be bad news for him and some of his associates, not for the country.

But some republican committee chairmen might be thinking of God's warning:

"For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you." Matthew 7:2

The average of polls today show that the democrat advantage is larger than the republican Gerrymandering advantage. Who knows if that will last until November? But if it does, it will be grim for the WH.

An investigation sounds serious. What law do they think was broken?

Lying about contracts with Russians. Setting up a meeting with Russian agents "to get dirt on Hillary Clinton." Trying to cover up such a meeting. Contacts with Russian agents spreading disinformation about the candidates to help Trump.

We don't know all of it yet. Be patient. Mueller is taking them down one or two at a time. Let's see what we have when it's all wrapped.

He's conservative, but he's not showing any signs of dementia. And he's not been convicted of fraud or involved with organized crime figures, or paid off a porn star to hide his adulter in an attempt to protect his candidacy. So there is that.

At the end, if it turns out that Trump has done something indictable, someone is going to have to decide if it's worse to remove him, or to leave him to the end of his term. Let's hope, if it comes to that, that they chose wisely.

<Ahem.> I asked about a law. In America anyway, you can't charge a person with just "doing stuff you don't like". So what exactly is being investigated?

What will this be called? I've forgotten most of them now. Collusion, emoluments, treason. How long will this muddy up the news cycle before everyone forgets it and they move on. Again.

There was an election. One side won and the other side didn't. We collectively need to get over it. That would be "good news for America".

<Ahem.> I asked about a law.

It's against the law to take or solicit anything of value from a foreign power in a political campaign. It's against the law to try to hide criminal behavior. Lying to government officials about contacts with foreign agents. Stuff like that.

In America anyway, you can't charge a person with just "doing stuff you don't like".

Trump disagrees with you. He wants to sic the feds on whoever in his administration is talking to the press. You're right, and Trump is wrong. However, as Flynn, Papadoupolos, Gates, Manafort, Cohn, etc, discovered to their dismay, there were crimes done in his adminstration, campaign, and in covering up Trump's sexual behavior. We're still sorting it all out. Be patient.

What will this be called?

Most likely, "obstruction of justice." That one seems to get them every time.

There was an election.

One in which the Russians worked diligently to get their guy elected. CIA has recording of Russian officials congratulating themselves on how well it worked.

One side won and the other side didn't.

The election's over. Now all that remains is to finish the investigation, and see who, if anyone was given the Russians help (or who the Russians were helping). Be patient. It's coming out. As you may have noticed, we're getting period guilty pleas, convictions and perps flipping to turn in other perps. The system is working well.

We collectively need to get over it.

Clearing up the mess will be a big help, it seems. You know, it could at least potentially, show that Trump himself was guilty of nothing more than appointing a pack of criminals to high positions in his campaign and government. It's possible. You could hang onto that thought.

True. And it's possible that this is all circumstantial, and when we get it all aired out, he turns out to be guilty of nothing more than hiring a pack of criminals.

In fact he has not been to trial.

Right. He paid a huge settlement to avoid his upcoming fraud trial. That's about it.

Manafort and Trump aren't liberals.
I am talking about the infidels that are attacking Trump and do not recognize that He is serving God. When they are through judging Trump and his administration then God is going to judge them with the same judgement they are now using to judge others. This is the Kingdom age and the Kingdoms of this world are becoming the Kingdoms of God. If God can use Trump then it is pretty obvious that He can use anyone and that anyone not willing to be used by God is without excuse.

1 cor 1:27 "But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong."

But as more and more evidence comes out, it looks really bad for him, right now.
You must be looking at a lie, because I do not see any evidence for anything.
It's not a done deal.
Actually it is a done deal. It has already begun. Only Trump is not making a public spectacle out of what the court system is doing. For example More Than 2,300 Suspected Online Child Sex Offenders have been Arrested. Yet we hear almost nothing about that.

Trump is doing exactly what he said he was going to do, he is cleaning the swamp and he is bringing people to justice. Yes their is a back lash they are wagging their tongues but none of that is going to come to anything. Evil does not give up without a fight.

The bottom line is that the Kingdoms of this world are becoming the Kingdoms of God. Trump has a part in that but the battle belongs to God. Again there is a reason why God uses people like Trump. All Praise & Honor & Glory be onto God. Man can not claim any of the credit. Oh Trump tries to claim I did this and I did that. But we know better then that. We know that we can only give Credit to God for all He has done.

Really, you think that Putin is an idiot and you are going to catch him with his pants down? What a laugh. He has been around the block more then a few times and dealing with this sort of thing is nothing for him. He went to cloak and dagger school and you are not going to beat him at his own game. You need to lighten up a bit to see the humor in all of this.

Clearly not. At the "summit", he played Trump like an instrument.

and you are going to catch him with his pants down?

Took a lot of work to run down Russian agents and operations. We don't yet have all of it. But it's coming in.

He has been around the block more then a few times and dealing with this sort of thing is nothing for him.

He's clearly outclassed Trump. But you're giving him way too much credit. Our people are also sharp. I'm sure Putin was chewing the rug when he learned the CIA listened in as some of his senior people were congratulating themselves on having thrown the election.

He went to cloak and dagger school and you are not going to beat him at his own game.

So did our people. And as you know, they've already identified a number of people in the Trump organization that lied about their contacts with Russian agents or met with them in an attempt to rig the election. Would you like to see those again?

You need to lighten up a bit to see the humor in all of this.

Somehow, the idea of the Russians undermining democracy doesn't sound very funny. What about that do you think is funny?

Of course, that is why he worked to hard to get Trump elected. Obama was the only one that gave him any problems. HE got along real good with Bush.

I do not know about that. My brother was in intelligence in the Army so I have my doubts about what they are able to do.

This has nothing to do with government and everything to do with big business. As long as they are beating their sword into a plow that is all I care about. Trump did exactly that when he took out those chemical weapons with pin point precision. To put an end to harming the children.

The Kingdoms of the world are becoming the Kingdoms of God. We will rule and reign with Christs for 1,000 years. Soon war is going to come to an end.

Hillary Clinton has been through a total of ten investigations and even with Trump in office (remember "lock her up!") she has not been charged let alone brought to trial. The difference between Hillary and Trump is that Hillary seems to be a decent and intelligent person.

Bush yapped at him but didn't do anything. Obama nailed him with sanctions that seriously damaged the Russian economy.

"Military intelligence" is an oxymoron. The CIA is another story. That's how they got this:
Senior officials in the Russian government celebrated Donald Trump’s victory over Hillary Clinton as a geopolitical win for Moscow, according to U.S. officials who said that American intelligence agencies intercepted communications in the aftermath of the election in which Russian officials congratulated themselves on the outcome.

The ebullient reaction among high-ranking Russian officials — including some who U.S. officials believe had knowledge of the country’s cyber campaign to interfere in the U.S. election — contributed to the U.S. intelligence community’s assessment that Moscow’s efforts were aimed at least in part at helping Trump win the White House.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/worl...4ab630851e8_story.html?utm_term=.0542913e6520

Putin wanted a weak president, so he pulled out all the stops to help Trump win.

Trump did exactly that when he took out those chemical weapons with pin point precision. To put an end to harming the children.

As you know, harming children was a strategy he used to discourage asylum requests. Would you like me to show you that, again?

A Trump administration official said Tuesday he warned for months about the potential for harm to migrant children if they were separated from their parents before the administration launched its "zero tolerance" border policy earlier this year.

"There is no question that separation of children from parents entails significant potential for traumatic psychological injury to the child," Commander Jonathan White, a Health and Human Services official who led the agency’s family reunification efforts, told the Senate Judiciary Committee at Congress’s first hearing on the separations of thousands of families at the border.

Senators of both parties demanded answers from White and other Trump administration officials, and Democratic Senator Dick Durbin of Illinois called on Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen to resign to accept responsibility for violating the nation’s "bedrock values" on families. He said that, "incredibly," Nielsen had claimed on Twitter that the U.S. didn’t "have a policy of separating families at the border. Period."

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/arti...-face-senate-scrutiny-over-family-separations

What did Jesus say about harming children?

The Kingdoms of the world are becoming the Kingdoms of God.

He said that His Kingdom is not of this world. So He's not the God you're talking about.

How many people were indicted as a result of the investigation into Clinton? Was anybody at all indicted?

I guess that tells us all we need to know.
