CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I know how you guys feel, some debates are worthless and I wonder why I participate.
I am in 2 right now.

I know I should be able to sing that song regardless. But, someday's all I can sing
Which makes me think of this song.
The 2 best prayers I know, 1 is always apropos (bet you thought you would never hear that word in a song).
And it just made me want to sing

Yes, yesterday i was in mostly 2....one from an atheist who put a hypothetical out there about what if i found out God wasn't real or Who He said He was....
The other was heart-wrenching...it was about 23 month old Alfie Evans who died like 11 days before his 2nd birthday. His parents were prevented from taking him to Italy for alternative treatment.
This was ALL DAY, and i was tuckered.
