My Mom can dance, but was not a trained dancer. I started Ballet and the other Dance disciplines at an early age. Took classes all the way through high school.

Yes, even contemporary dance is a discipline, isn't it? while people enjoy it, it does also take dedication.

Yes it does, as does Hip Hop and even when Break Dance was popular back when it was popular. Ballet has to be the hardest and takes the most discipline in my opinion.

Some ppl regard contemporary hard rock dancing as a soft option, but, although ballet is indeed very disciplined, Break Dance and hard rock dancing - when done really properly - does also take a great deal of hard work and discipline also.
