They both need a few days off to hit the cages to figure out what is going on with their swings, with the way everybody else is hitting they won't be missed while they figure it out. (Even the Catchers are hitting better than those two). Mazara was put in the 3rd slot last night and he ended up being on base 4 times, I think he could hit anywhere in the order and do just fine...
Profar is really putting the screws to the management team to find a place for him on the roster playing on a regular basis. He seems to be totally comfortable with hitting 1st and the team is responding to him being there, more 7-2 wins than 3-2 wins. I think they can figure out a way to get him in the lineup at least 5 days a week and maybe 6, especially since 2 other guys aren't earning the playing time they're getting. Since he is a switch hitter he could be used to get better matchups and give some other guys rest, that's if Banny is willing to get creative with the lineup. (Both Profar and Andrus have played OF before).
They have a long stretch with only 1-2 days off and it's about to get hot so getting people rest is paramount. Once Choo gets back they will be stacked and they have the opportunity to put the division away in the next 60 days if they seize it and run (Best 60 game run I can remember is the 75 or 76 Reds they went 51-9) . But that's only if Banny forgets about salaries, veterans playing time and egos and plays the hot players and the matchups. I would think winning a WS is the goal of every team every year, not about keeping overpaid over ego guys happy. (Guys like that need to be given a new zipcode)...
