The left-wing website Salon just released a stomach-turning video attempting to normalize pedophilia. The video's narrator, a young pedophile, explains his "sexuality" and brands himself as a pedophile but not a "monster" or "child molester."

The man says pedophilia is "not something he chose" but something he will have to live with for the rest of his life. He adds, "not all pedophiles are child molesters, and not all child molesters are pedophiles."

He says his purpose now is to educate people about his "sexuality," which he allegedly does on his website for "virtuous pedophiles."

I don't see our society ever accepting this. It is a monstrous act, but he is right that he is human. There are some who are attracted to children who never act on it. Those who do are threats to society, extremely selfish and should be locked away permanently so they do not endanger more children.

What we have learned in the past 20 years is that your statement has been proven wrong.

State laws only stand in the way of pedophilia.

As we have seen laws can be changed and this article is warning us the first step was taken to "normalize" pedophilia.

The liberal strategy has always been:

1. Gain sympathy for your cause
2. Exhibit positive examples to reinforce #1
3. Show the behavior or issue is "normal" or genetic. Encourage "tolerance."
4. If the majority do not respond to #1-3 positively, make the opposing view untenable through ad campaigns, school instruction and litigation.
5. Demonize and threaten civil lawsuits against opposing views. Demand legislation to legalize the act or group you represent no matter the repercussions.
6. Label any opposition as hate speech thus silencing the opposing view.
7. Shift messaging from a perceived tolerance to demanded acceptance.
8. With opposing views silenced, move to indoctrination of your view using tamed and frightened local, state and federal government to dish out your indoctrination. If you have a president who likes to use unconstitutional edicts to threaten states that's a plus for your cause.
9. Enforcement. Now that you have silenced and demonized the opposition, enacted edicts and laws, the next step is to make anyone who resists pay or do time in prison. Make their lives so miserable they capitulate (see #7 rinse and repeat).
10. Find another pet issue or project and repeat steps 1-10.

I have been saying this for a while now. Whenever I mention it I am met with incredulity. People forget how monstrous and abnormal homosexuality used to be considered. This is the slippery slope of accepting a perversion, it opens the door to all others.

They use Hebephilia, or attraction to underage but sexually mature females, to hide paedophilia surreptitiously and make it seem more commonplace. While the former while still wrong by modern standards, makes more sense as historically girls in the hebephilic age group of about 15-18 were already frequently married and considered adults. Hebephilia is used to pad the numbers in paedophiles favour to make it seem accurate by EBM methods and Science to say they are a sexual orientation and not a paraphilia. If you check these studies you will see very broad definitions used and some dodgy conclusions, but these are then roped in to do further service in a meta-analysis to show how a "fifth of men are really paedophiles". (I know the article also mentions hebephiles, but as this is a specialist word that the public doesn't know at large, it all becomes conflated together)
The march of the faulty science and 'progressive' views is well on its way and its trotting along the same path that homosexuality traversed.

Yes its a bit broad. Its probably just paedophiles themselves pushing for this, but they are following the well trod path opened by Homosexuals. This utilises ideas like political correctness, sexual orientation and a leftist discourse to operate, so I do think there may be a push for this from certain political groupings in future.

Did you ever think a major American newspaper would editorialize that young girls will just have to get used to seeing male genitalia in bathrooms, because that's just a civil rights issue like whites who had to get used to seeing blacks in their classrooms a half-century ago after desegregation? And did you ever think that the White House and even city governments would say they were going to fine people who didn't call others "ze" instead of "he" or "she" if the person in question felt like changing his gender--in his mind only--that particular day?

Do you think society has, in fact, "accepted" either of those...but yet they're here.

I was under the impression women's bathrooms were all made up of stalls not urinals, so I'm not sure why they're going to

As I think of it, I wrote "bathrooms" there, but locker rooms were also included in most or all of what I was referring to.

I don't doubt that there are pedophiles who are going to advance this argument. I do question if it is "the Left's Next Play." If it is, and if "the left-wing website Salon just released a stomach-turning video attempting to normalize pedophilia," why is the link that is provided to a conservative website rather than directly to the primary source of Salon themselves?

Agreed. I said this years ago, that the NAMBLA types were watching how the homosexual agenda was being advanced and would attempt at some point to promote themselves in like manner. And here we are.

As for primary source, the embedded link on the CR site leads to Salon's Facebook page. The video features the Salon logo in the upper right corner. The video has over 23,000 shares. Many of the comments are equally nauseating.

I have no sympathy for pedophiles. But if they find it anywhere it will be with the progressive left.
