I'm getting concerned. I think a demon is messing with my son.

If you remember, I recently posted a thread about a dream that I had where a demonic little girl was following me around trying to get me to accept her into my life. She had rotted gray flesh, and looked to be about 12 years old. Here's the thread:

I'm now concerned because my son, Tyler (7, almost 8 years old), has been waking up terrified because of a girl in his dreams. We ask him what she looks like, and he says "like a zombie, like from The Walking Dead." We asked him if she says anything, and he said that she tells him that she wants to be his friend, but she's so grotesque looking that he tells her to go away and she screams, "I'm going to kill you!" And then he wakes up. He also describes her as being the age of the girl I dreamed about. This can't be a coincidence. I don't know what to do.

Forgive me, but I suspect that this is entirely a coincidence. A 7 year-old should not have ever heard of the Walking Dead.
He hasn't had one friend over who hasn't liked TWD and played "zombies" with him. He's been a fan for a few years. Never had a problem.

I had some Really horrific nightmares when my Dad died. Has he had any trauma lately or been exposed to something that is traumatic?
No. This just started happening out of the blue. It sounds like the same little wench from my dreams. You guys are the only ones I've told.

When I had nightmares like that, I started praying the rosary before bed and that helped.
Mmmm, not sure he'll ever be taught that from us. He's a Lutheran as his mother is and I am (barely hanging on...). I'm moving towards Orthodoxy. He prays the Lord's Prayer.

Tell him next time she/it visits him in his dream before listening to it before talking to it... tell him to say "lord jesus protect me". These sort of things are real and dangerous. If this is a demon and your son becomes open to it. The chances are it will effect your son by hiding in him and influencing his life

I was sitting in a hoapital waiting roo. And watched part of walking dead last night. First time. I'm not sure that.I ever saw a zombie. They were killing people, but they just looked like normal people. But then, I wasn't watching very diligently.

Most characters on that show kill better than zombies. You probably saw one of them on another killing spree

I'd say contact a priest.
Or, you know, don't let a 7 year old watch zombie movies before bed. Either or.

Yes I believe in posession and interventionist demonic forces and all, but seriously, Ocham's razor and all that...

This. Kids (and adults) sometimes have unspeakably terrifying nightmares or realistic, vivid dreams. Maybe these are messages for God or a sign of possession by a demon. I tend to think that they're mostly just dreams.

He hadn't watched zombies before bed. He's also never had nightmares or been effected by TWD in any way.
