I am loved and accepted, therefore I obey.
Not out of fear or coercion, like some here are teaching, but out of love for He who saved me and keeps me by HIS Power.
Those who teach salvation by works will always judge another's salvation by outward works, never by that which is unseen, invisible, or inward.
Why? They wish to rank and compare. Such are Pharisees in their thoughts actions, and motivations.
The point is that our actions impact our salvation.
Acts 10:35
But in every nation whoever fears Him and works righteousness (first) is accepted by Him (second).
I have no need, nor willingness to rank and compare. You are who you are, and I am in no way responsible for your actions, good or bad.
But yet you will rank and compare. It's a human tendency. Just the way you speak to some of us in here shows your opinion of yourself as compared to us.
But in every nation whoever fears Him and works righteousness (first) is accepted by Him (second).
A stretch to try and make that a verse detailing the progression of events. You are clearly claiming that acceptance by God is the result of fearing God and working righteousness, which is exactly backwards. Works do not produce, cause, or acquire salvation, they are the result of salvation, works that are acceptable to God, that is. Our own works of righteousness, sourced in ourselves, are like menstrual rags to God. That what the literal Hebrew calls them. The proper order always has acceptable works following salvation, they never are the way to salvation.
So the verse in Acts baffles you. The verse itself, not me, claims acceptance is by fearing God and working righteousness.
Let me give it to you again -
Acts 10:35
But in every nation whoever fears Him and works righteousness is accepted by Him.
Maybe you should change your beliefs to fit this passage, and not try to change this passage to fit your beliefs.

How so?
No, it doesn't baffle me, but you obviously want to make it say more than it does. Since you clearly cannot correctly articulate any of my beliefs, I find your advice that i should change them laughable.
And as long as you think that way, you will be like Martha, so busy doing things that she missed the most important part, which Mary was doing, sitting at Jesus' feet, listening to His Words.
You do remember that in the Bible, don't you? Whom did Jesus commend? Luke 10:40-42
That's what the bible teaches:
Romans 2
6God “will repay each person according to what they have done.”7To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality, he will give eternal life.
Gal 6
7Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. 8Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. 9Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
Matt 7
21“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.
John 15
6If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned....10If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love.
Once again, salvation is a free gift, not a reward.
The grace that brings salvation is a free gift. We must cooperate with this grace in order to be saved.
Do you deny the truth of these passages?
