I'm not confused at all. I'm simply stating what is in the Scriptures and what is not. The Scriptures state that the sun, moon and stars were created on day four, and prior to that there was a source of light. Now we don't see another source of light other than the sun, which means it went somewhere. My guess is that it became the rest of the our galaxy; the "big bang," then, happened on day four. It did not include the earth, which was already formed.
Nothing in the Scriptures precludes other created life.
Nothing in the Scriptures precludes other created worlds.
Nothing in the Scriptures precludes God from creating additional species other than what is mentioned.
The Scriptures are not intended to transcribe all that can be known about the universe. They are the the words from the Lord about the history and failings of man as well as the offered chance for salvation.
