I may trust him to operate on a patient, but he shows no signs of being Presidential material.

I was actually quite open to Carson when I first became aware of him, because I was impressed by his background. But he has ruined that good will since then, by repeatedly talking nonsense. He's obviously not up to it; it's a free ride for Hillary if Carson gets the nomination.

Carson has no chance to win so nobody needs to destroy him any more than what Carson is doing to himself. He has no ideas so he is putting all his money on a victimization campaign. In the end he will run from politics.
