I have been learning a lot from people like this. How can I know we are in the church we should be in? We've tried quite a few churches and we live in the western US. I listen to Joyce Meyer too.

Good thing to do,listen to the sermons and be blessed by them.

Always make sure you compare what you here with God's Word.

Absolutely... Creflo Dollar is No.2 on my listening list right now.

To your question...
Matt 7:7
"Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened to you."
You will also do well by listening to Joyce Meyer.

thanks I do go to a church but I'd like to go to a church like some of these teachers come from. I'm wondering what that would be? What church do you attend that would build you up this way?

If you really get ministered to by listening to Creflo Dollar, Bill Winston and Joyce Meyer, I suppose they are all from a mixture of Pentecostal, Charismatic, Full Gospel, and Word of Faith background. They are all full gospel believers which means, (along with us), here in the Word of Faith forum, we all believe in speaking in tongues, laying hands on and praying for the sick, etc.

I see on your profile page that you are a Calvinist which is one of the main Baptist affiliation. You will find that most all of the Baptists do not share the same Blessings that we enjoy when we receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit as recorded in (Acts 2:4) and on... Read and check out.

If you're really interested in the three you mentioned then continue watching and listening. To get much more of their style of ministry, go to each of their web sites and check out their many online teachings that are available and have your Bible along side as you do.

An even more excellent source of teachings comparable to what Creflo, Winston and Joyce Meyer teach is right here on this forum. You can go back to the main page where you started your thread and scroll down the page. You can then go "back" many pages (over 160) and pick and choose what thread subject that has your interest in mind. Have fun...

Creflo Dollar has been one of my favorite preachers for many years. I must admit that I think he went a bit overboard by asking for donations for a $50million dollar jet. I donated toward Kenneth Copeland's $10 million dollar jet, but $50 Million?

I like Bill Winston. He is a good teacher.

Unless I'm mistaken, it was around $65 million for the jet. Yes, he may have gone overboard but he repented (changed his mind) and continues on ministering the Word as I believe he was chosen by God to do.

This goes to show that "no one" has arrived. We all fall short. God is working with him to meet his needs for the ministry. He still remains one of my best that I listen to...

I think he "un-repented." I live in the ATL area. It was all over the news last night that he is going forward with the fund raising for the $65Million Jet. I was disappointed in his demeanor in the video clips they were showing. I believe he did himself and his ministry significant damage.

Hey reynolds... My response is not just a response to your post concerning Creflo's dream jet. I actually thank you for bringing this up so I can share my thoughts to the forum.

I also have read several articles about this issue. One of the articles mentioned that he did repent (change his mind) and pulled the ad. Most of the other articles were as expected... ("Its ALL about more money grubbing.") Not surprising to me at all in what "they" say. The way I look at this, it's between him and God, and... to those who would support this dream of his. "Whosoever" believes that Creflo's ministry is God centered, then by all means, its their choice to either support him with this dream or not. That is also between them and God.

I have posted Creflo's response video that (most of Christianity by now have seen), about the jet issue. He mentions in the video that he did NOT ask for donations on this jet as was stated in some of the articles I have read. I'm guessing this statement may be under some scrutiny between him and his congregation on whether he asked or not. It's a wait and see thing.

I myself, find nothing wrong with his video response message. He did show some behavior during, ("Well Creflo, here we go again!"), but I had no problem with that either. I actually laughed along with his congregation. No disappointments by me at all. I have watched Creflo several years and developed a trust for him along with many, many others that believe in the work that God has for him to do. I watch and listen to many faith teachers and grace teachers of Word of Faith or taught by others. And Creflo, or Wommack, Hagin and others are great teachers of faith... but, we are to follow Christ and Him only. I say that to show that I'm not jumping on the band wagon for Creflo Dollar. I'm on the band wagon of ministering His Grace and I believe he is also.

In Creflo's video it was about the "ministry" even if he has to go to Venus, or Mars which would take a space shuttle to reach there. Now, that's a dream. If that comes about, I may help him get one and God will further BLESS me so I will have more pop-corn to eat.

This video is for ALL on the forum to see, (mainly for those who have been BLESSED by his teaching). Any critics that may come up here to our WOF forum, which I'm sure (some will)... and reads this response about Creflo and his dreams... in attempts to promote envy and strife in the Body of Christ... please discuss it else where.

Let's not forget this is the Word of Faith forum. Fellowship and questions that may lead to discussions (to me) are welcome. Non-members are not allowed to teach here against Word of Faith beliefs, nor debate.

As far as Creflo's dreams, (along with other dreamers), what are some of our dreams? Maybe not quite that big as his... but, he has been called to help reach the WORLD to teach and receive the Gospel (grace) message of Jesus Christ. In my small part of the WORLD... (my friends, neighbors and loved ones), I wouldn't need a jet, and to reach them, I would have to purchase a new bicycle since the one I'm using is very worn out. :D. If I need/want to buy one of the best bikes to minister in my neighborhood... that's between me and God. That could be my dream. Reminds me of the rock group Aerosmith's song... "Dream On" that you may hear on the radio today. :)

Did the world and some (believers) at the time understand why God BLESSED Solomon with such an "elaborate temple" with the walls lined with gold and with various other gems? And, what does God have to say about visions and dreams... especially since WE are in the last days?
Acts 2:17
"And it shall come to pass in the last days, said God, I will pour out of my Spirit on all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:"
I believe that Creflo and others do believe we are in the last of the latter days so why do they relentlessly keep going on ministering the Gospel of the grace of Jesus Christ regardless of what the critics say?
We ALL know the answer to this because we all...

I like Creflo. I met him in Anaheim. He was real down to earth. We stayed in the same hotel and he spent a lot of time in the lounge eating snacks and watching TV etc. (no alcohol was in the lounge for the event). The world does not need much of an excuse to attack us (WOF). I think we must be careful to not give them them those excuses. Creflo said he did not ask his congregation for donations. He the said he asked his partners for donations.
I hope it does not hurt his ministry. Kenneth Copeland bought a very efficient, very fast jet that all things considered was modestly priced in the corporate jet world. Creflo wants a luxury jet that is on the extreme high end of the price scale. It opens him up to the appearance of evil and it opens him up to unneeded scrutiny. It may not be sin, but if it causes a brother to stumble........

Nobody's perfect,I think it was a mistake to ask anyone for a specific amount.

He could have simply said I'm trusting God for a new Jet.

So admit it , quit it ,and forget it would be my advise to him.

His ministry is to important to allow amother feeding frenzy from those who do not comprehend the good he does.

We wonder how many of God's chosen stumbled while Solomon's temple was being built with God's BLESSING... but, point taken.

Also good points John.... and correct, we ALL miss the mark and fall short... but thank God for the Gospel of Grace which is the good news of Jesus Christ... (which we do not deserve), but given freely to whosoever believes...

Everyone is going to be compared to Jesus, the glory of God, and therefore... everyone will come up short. Andrew Wommack would say, "I haven't arrived yet... but, I'm heading there."

God directly ordained the building of His temple. The nation knew that. Not so clear cut with Creflo's luxury jet. The "prosperity message" has gone too far to the extreme. Many who are teaching it should take a step back and read "Midas Touch" by Dad. Kenneth Copeland toned way down what he was teaching after being lovingly admonished by his mentor, K.H.

The problem is that the world does not show grace. I have all the grace in the world for Creflo. I am not donating one dime to his jet, but I love him and I want to see his ministry flourish. The problem is the world sees these type things as an ideal opportunity to destroy ministers.
