Oh, and before anyone thinks Im a liberal. Im a devout, far right conservative, who's father was a member of the KKK. Im also not 100% "white". My DNA shows that Im 1/4 Native American, and since 75% of my ancestors come from the mountains of East Tennessee/Western NC, chances are that that DNA is Cherokee. Still checking out the Dawes Rolls.

There are Indian nations, Cherokee being one of five, which are the "civilized nations." I'm not certain but believe they are one that has the tradition of being of the tribes of Israel.

Rather than making such a remark...why not ask yourself why He created all the various races in the first place. He is The Creator...He said, "it is very good."

At one time, according to the Bible, we were all one people. But we became arrogant and God punished us by confusing our tongues. Aka, divided us racially.

The Cherokee, along with the other tribes, were called civilized because they/we lived in towns, had agriculture, and worked metal. We also easily accepted new technology and ideas.

From what Ive heard, it is only one small group that believes that, and they arent taken seriously by the rest of the tribe.

Perhaps they should be. There are archaeological discoveries proving the tribes were in America long, long ago....way before Columbus. :) One account showed some explorer (I forget the name) that came up Mobile Bay and traveled north. The Cherokee, I believe, are located in or partially in Alabama???

Undisputed. 'Cause, like, they were here before Columbus started killing them.

When the Europeans arrived, the Cherokee occupied a territory that extended from western Tennessee to the mid Carolinas, south from Alabama/Georgia north to Kentucky/Virginia/West Virginia. They were the largest tribe east of the Mississippi.

Native Americans are said to have arrived in North America about 15,000 years ago. Long before the time of Moses.

Rather than making such a remark...why not ask yourself why He created all the various races in the first place.

That's easy -- I don't think He did.

But if He had -- who doesn't enjoy a little variety?

He is The Creator...He said, "it is very good."

There's a big difference between "very good," and "do not improve upon."

Interesting -- perhaps you could find that name?

Thank you. Good point. The result is there would be a reason for something like that happening. Take the reasons away and it does not happen.

There is no evidence for that kind of clear genetic distinction has ever existed between Africans and Europeans.

Racial groups are not distinct. The mutations responsible for light skin are not fixed in even the "purest" european populations. Likewise, 10% of africans have the A326G allele (the "white" one) on their KITLG gene. On the ASIP gene, the 8188G allele (the "black" one) is found in 12% of those with european ancestry. We could go through all the rest too, but there are a LOT of genes that effect melanin production.

Within humanity are various races...they differ from one another....all are human and yet there are differences. Why? I don't know but we were made this way. Why change what He created?

So you think that two people of different races getting married and producing a child is changing what He created?

Within the animal kingdom...many varieties and yet all are animals. Within the plant species...many varieties and yet all are plants.

Those are different species. Unless you want to try to argue that races of people are different species???

Actually, that has to do with language, not race.

And if that were the case, does that mean it would be a sin to learn a second language?

Rather than making such a remark...

Actually, I think I'll rephrase it:

Is a god who is so petty as to demand that his "chosen" people stay away from others on account of the superficial physical differences which, according to you, he himself created, a god worthy of worship?

"Tongue" = language, not skin color.

He confused our tongues and scattered us to the ends of the earth. Even evolutionists realize that we were once one people, that we then "migrated" around the planet.

If God had just changed our pigmentation, most wouldnt have scattered because they would have still been able to speak to each other. So, God first confused our tongues and then scattered us, thereby creating the "races".

Whatever anyone thinks happened at the tower of Babel, membership in the Body of Christ changes everything that went before.

Seems the tower of babel story would be more a warning against learning foreign languages than against marrying outside your "race."

Did you know that some scientists claim that European DNA contains up to 4% Neanderthal DNA? They believe the gene sequence for red hair actually came from Neanderthals. And many Europeans actually have a gene mutation that protects them from the Black Plague and HIV/AIDS.

50% isn't bad, hopefully we'll see the trend continue to 100%. I've never heard the term Silents.
We don't need it to be 100%. We just need the people who have a problem with it go to 0%. I'm fine with the other 50% not caring one way or the other.

I am a conservative, therefore I am uncomfortable with the destruction of human diversity through interracial marriage.
That doesn't define being conservative.

Besides, interracial marriage adds diversity to a family's bloodline, rather than depriving it.
