Really? The mainstream media I'm seeing is saying the 'plane crashed into the Indian Ocean. Nothing about suicide.
Which government?
What relevance do you think that has to what happened?
Many people can be unwaveringly wrong. I'm more inclined to believe the people who are actually involved in the search for the 'plane than some armchair ex-general who's got nothing to do with it. Still, if his Intelligence is reliable, why doesn't he point the Malaysian and Australian authorities in the right direction?
Or they're 12,000 feet under the Indian Ocean. That also would do it.
Well, locking people out of plane cockpits isn't difficult - as has been pointed out in another thread, the problem is that, particularly post-9/11, they're almost too secure; even if the passengers and cabin crew had realised there was a problem on the 'plane, they probably wouldn't have been able to get into the cockpit to do anything about it.
But then I don't buy the suicide theory either.
Perhaps you don't have 24hr. news channels focused on this story. They've been covering it since it happened.
Let's see...first they thought there was a catastrophic malfunction in the cockpit and then they thought there might have been a fire from the tires burning since it was a hot night when they took off. Then they thought of a hijacking but since no one on board had a history of terrorism or extremism, they gave up that idea. And they quickly believed Pakistan that the plane never entered their airspace. Then they thought there was a crack somewhere in the body of the plane and everyone perished and the plane continued on autopilot until it ran out of fuel. And now they think it may have been pilot suicide. Every few days it's something else. As far as the satellite pictures, first China had one and no one could find that. Then Australia had a satellite picture and finally, France had a picture. I'm not sure, but it's sounding like the searchers have found numerous, over 100, small items that could be a part of the plane. But they keep warning that there are tons of trash from dump sites in the ocean.
I'd like to interject something here: Where are the tree huggers when you need them? They don't want a pipeline built though it would provide hundreds of jobs. They don't want crops grown in the San Joaquin Valley since the sprinklers get clogged with some little minnows. But I haven't heard a word about ships dumping their trash in the oceans, Monsanto's pesticides being sprayed on us (Oops! I forgot, they don't care about us. They care about the trees.) Why aren't they screaming from the housetops that Fukushima is killing all of the fish with radiation and that radiation has been found in the ground on the east coast? Anyway, I'm outraged when I see all of the trash in the ocean.
So back to the missing plane. The American gov't controls the American media, even Fox News though they like to appear to be independent.
I would be immediately suspicious of two men who are using stolen passports. And why their nationality is relevant to the idea of hijacking: I can't believe you would ask that question. Just shows how "politically correct" we've become in this world. I don't fly. I've had some rough rides and I don't like it. But if I got on a plane, it would have to be an emergency and if I saw Middle Eastern men on the flight I'd get off immediately. If I couldn't get off, I'd faint or have a heart attack. I'm sorry, but that is how I feel. My first thought when I heard there were two Iranians who had used stolen passports, was that the plane had been hijacked. I guess it is true that a few people can spoil things for the majority.
Well, it's not a retired general's place to give the Malaysians our intelligence. And I don't think that any country really would want to confront that kind of situation because to accuse an "ally" of stealing a plane and possibly killing all of the passengers would be a difficult thing. Wouldn't that be considered an act of war? I'm sure Malaysia wouldn't do anything and I doubt that Obama would do anything, even though there were Americans on board. Don't know about China.
Off topic but I'm watching Piers Morgan Live on CNN. I thought he got fired.
So who knows what happened to this plane? I can believe the co-pilot could do something before I'd believe that the Captain could. He was so into his job and even had his own flight simulator. But we should know about the files he deleted by Friday.
