  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

And this is the exact same thing for every science field ever. A new theory means new research, new grants and new money flowing in. Again, what is different in evolution from the other sciences that keeps a faulty theory in place? Why are 99.9% of all biologists from every country, background, and religion convinced that evolution is the best theory?

I would of thought you knew that?

I don't have volume but I doubt she has much to say about that later book.

Look, fossils were getting evolutionists nowhere, they still aren't. In comes the big new project, the human genome. Suddenly we are closely matched to chimps, but genetically we (creationists) knew that would be the case. It doesn't mean one evolved from the same lineage as the other. Then it was discovered we are closely matched to certain fruits. So what comes next? oh yeah, vestiges. Apparently we have the remnants of a tail bone, we have an appendix not needed now and yet these have been laughed at and proved wrong. Now science is claiming we came from Mars. Talk about getting desperate, I can't wait to see what's next.

It did not take that much to debunk your book.

it is a basic book that does not go in too deep, but I would recommend actually reading it before you say that. REading the preview is not reading it.

Not according to the #1 Christian in the world. He says that if your myth is true it is true for everyone.

Yea there are no Christian journals that would have peer review that would agree with that. There are no number ones, and Jesus the good shepherd gave his life for his sheep.

Are you a lost sheep or a viper, goat, or wolf?

but in half a million years you would expect to see SOMETHING happening. Hmm let me see, nope, nothing.

What do you mean? In the last half million years we can show all sorts of evolution. In the case of man we went from homo erectus to homo sapiens during that time period.

You do realize that the "missing link" has not been missing for many years, don't you?

A group of 'experts' look at the fossils and decide what links with what.
That's fine with me.

They can move and shift all they want; and play musical chairs with their evidence to their hearts' content.

But the fact remains, they can't daisy-chain their evidence from abiogenesis to the emergence of mankind.

It's like trying to put a chain link fence up around Area 51 with only 30 links.

And yet according to most Christians he was only buried a day and a half, in direct contravention of his own prediction.

the day and a half was spread of ever three days, so they are both right.

good friday evening, saturday (sabbath), and easter sunday morn

No, Jesus actually predicted three days and three nights. You can't spread that over a day and a half. I can pull up the verse if you do not trust me.

everything in the homo line is human,

thats all we need to know

genus level transitions is my definition of macro evolution.

Ah yes, the ever moving goal line.

And people wonder why evolutionists do not like to debate with creationists.

How little you know. What makes you think that evolution cannot be tested, observed, and repeated in the hear and now?

It costs to much. And you will have to put it all underground just in case you recreate it. Why not do testing in a regular environment that the God particle started in. All you need is billions of years and when that's done you can wait some more.

sorry, my mistake.

everything in homo line is human-like

that is not a changing goal post, just how the taxonomy lies out.

I am familiar with it but are you talking about the prophecy or Jesus words?

because it makes a difference you know.

but I will c&p some works on it later to let you know I don't treat this difficultly lightly.

but please post chapter and verse.

update:
here is a link

http://carm.org/how-long-was-jesus-dead-tomb

seems that the prophecy of 3 days 3 nights is a summary of the whole day, which is common in that type of literature. Porphetic words can sometimes do that. It doesn't mean it was a contradiction, it's just a Bible difficulty. There are whole books on just this, so if you want to drag this out we can.

In the past other creationists had the line at homo erectus. In fact some put the line just before and some put it just after making h. e. a perfect transitional species.

It is impossible to test right now, but odds are that Homo erectus and Australopithecus could interbreed. It is always possible to put the bar so high that it cannot be passed.

Sooner or later you have to trust the experts in any field. When well over 99% of the experts in a field agree on something you can be very sure that they are correct. In fact you would be hard pressed to find a case where that high of a percentage of experts has ever been wrong.

There are higher percentages in their relative fields that believe there was no holocaust, that man never landed on the Moon, that 9/11 was an inside job, and that someone else besides Oswald shot Kennedy. They all share one thing in common, they are all wrong.

Matthew 12:40
40 For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of a huge fish,k so the Son of Man will be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.m

This is the verse. Now some interpret that to mean that Jesus was crucified on Wednesday, I know there are problems with that too. Some use ridiculous apologetics to explain how he was in the city and that counted. Few ever admit the obvious.
