My answer would be that emotions are evolution derived impulses to steer your behaviour in ways that ensure your survival, social integration, reproductive success and the continuation of your genes. Emotions not to do with these drives tend to be less overpowering - actually I'm struggling to think of any that aren't to do with them, but I expect there are a few. Basically, when you feel emotions you are experiencing the results of evolution in a very direct way.

Yet, death would be lesser of emotions in a Evolutionary World, so why would death be the leading emotion in Christianity?

That last one is not correct. God does not determine who will receive eternal life. Eternal life is a free gift for those who sincerely ask and it is available to all people.

Eternal life is only granted to those who "ask sincerely" you say.... And who makes that determination ( that the person asked sincerely) if not your god...!?

So, in other words, your god is making a judgement as to who will and won't 'qualify'.............which is exactly what I said....!

As to the cause of the universe, I don't know. But making up an answer is worse than having no answer.

I also certainly don't believe that a people who lived in the bronze age, got it right.

I do not think death is an emotion, the emotion is felt in the lead up to death, death is the end, there is no memory of the death, even the way the death occurred is gone.
