Your math needs to exclude when Trayvon was born until he was 3 years old. That was when Sybrina was with Tracy before he stepped out and found Alicia. Alicia says she was part of Trayvon's life since he was 3 years old and obviously, Trayvon stayed with her 85%-90% of the time until Tracy 'Fruit' Martin decided to commit adultry again.

They didn't lie. You merely imagined a lie, and then you assigned a sinister motive to the thing that wasn't a lie in the first place.

The probable cause affidavit says that Trayvon Martin purchased iced tea. From the crime scene photos, it's obvious that the can is not iced tea, because the cans look completely different, and there's a picture of a watermelon visible on it. I can't really recall assigning any sort of motive to it, but if people who are supposed to know better put a (completely irrelevant) easily demonstrably false fact in their affidavit, that would call the whole affidavit into question, either by virtue of their incompetence or intentional misrepresentation.

Personally, I think that they put that untrue fact in their affidavit to avoid a negative racial stereotype.

Calling something with the AriZona label "tea" is no different than people calling any carbonated soft drink, "Coke."

Calling a soft drink with a picture watermelon on the front "iced tea" is reasonable? I've always assumed that "tea" was something that came from or had the flavor of tea leaves. And, if you want to pedantically invoke regional colloquialism, you've capitalized "Coke" which means it's a proper noun, and is actually referring to a specific soft drink. And it is a regional colloquiallism.

I can't seem to recall ever saying that. I've said that people are perpetuating a false meme. Claiming that the African American boy went to get "tea and skittles" sounds a lot better than the African American boy who went to get "watermelon juice and skittles." Of course, Martin's soft drink choices are completely irrelevant to whether or not Zimmerman committed murder, so I have no idea why Corey's lickspittles decided that it was a good idea to put that in their affidavit.

I've never dissolved one so I wouldn't know if you're accurate or not. But we do kow that Skittles are sometimes used as a substitute for Jolly Ranchers in concocting Purple Drank
