You seriously underestimate the cognitive dissonance of liberals...

And their hive mind, too!

Nobody's going to defend teachers bullying students. C'mon, just because someone has different political views doesnt mean they're evil. The most I could see any liberal protesting this is the notion that only liberals and liberal teachers bully kids. Bullies are bullies, not unique to any one political spectrum.

Yeah, well Grilled reuben sandwiches.

We are just saying random stuff, right?

I've not been to schools in wisconsin, but the claims he makes of widespread open discussion of politics across several different schools with multiple teachers calling republicans stupid seem pretty fantastical. Any teacher acting as he describes should be disciplined, but based on my own experience as both a student and teacher, I'm pretty skeptical. The investigation should get to the bottom of it.

Edwin apparently is.

I know that in my public schools, for Civics class kids were allowed to debate their points, with the teacher as a moderator. I know that particular teacher also leaned left but never brought it up unless asked.

No, the cognitive dissonance of liberals. See post #24.

Pretty sure she was asking you for examples.

Of course conservatives have consistently bullied liberals and moderates for the last couple years, and whenever those threads are put up (and don't ask me for examples, go find them yourself, there's probably over a hundred so they shouldn't be hard to find) conservatives rush to defend.

I think he was saying that post 24 was where someone was looking for examples of cognitive dissonance liberalism, not necessarily examples of liberal teachers bullying conservative students. That's what i was looking for.

It's worth noting that this kid is a junior political partisan. He might have his own agenda here, fifteen or not. It serves his interests to make the liberal teacher look a bad as possible. Not saying that the teacher wasn't wrong - If he was really hassling this kid, there should be disciplinary action. Just considering the source.
