Ring Pop proposal?

Inspired by a chat with Squeakers, I pose the following query for the women of CF. If the love of your life,
that you were absolutely smitten with proposed to you, but offered a Ring Pop instead of a diamond engagement ring, would you still accept?

My answer? YES.

In all honesty, I don't mind skipping the ring...as long as I love him and he loves me, I don't need anything material to show we're in love. All I want is his hand in mine.

Well, I like the idea of a ring, but something simple. Not a diamond ring.

As a Squeaker, I'm generally silly and very playful at night or if I'm tired.

I don't think I want to do a diamond, but a Celtic love knot, we both get one.
Meaning: Endless love, as this knot is impossible to separate, so too is our love without end.

As for the Ring pop idea, I don't know, it seems cheesy, but if you met in a candy store, or that was part of your first date, or first time hanging out, then sentimental value wins out.

But it should mean something, not just be a spur of the moment thing.

Funny story, this actually worked for one of my friends. She said "yes" before she even saw that he shrink-wrapped the actual diamond ring in with the ring pop.

He tried for a Star Trek wedding too, but she vetoed that idea.
