To Be a Darwinist or To Be a Darwinist

The point that Jesus was trying to make was that He is NOT a ghost. That the resurrected body is a physical body. The Bible clearly teaches that the Body we have will be transformed and glorified. That is why they do all the mental gymnastics trying to figure out how to resurrect a body that had been cremated and the ashes scattered to the wind and ocean. Yet still the answer is that NOTHING is impossible with God.

What about ghosts eating fish, is that impossible with God?

Given that Jesus was telling people that He's not a ghost, not that ghost don't exist. Could that mean that Ghost DO Exist?
I mean why would Jesus tell His followers that he's not something that doesn't exist?

A "ghost" is energy not matter.

"Everything in the universe is made up of essentially 2 things: matter and energy. Matter describes the physical things around us: the earth, the air you breathe, your pencil. Matter is made up of particles called atoms and molecules."

"
Energy is the ability to cause change or do work. Some forms of energy include light, heat, electrical energy and mechanical energy, such as movement. There are two main forms of energy: potential and kinetic. Potential energy is energy that is stored, while kinetic energy is energy in use."

Ghost is a old English word. The modern term is Holy Spirit. There is some question about angels. Some people (not me) think that angels can have sex with humans and produce babies.

So what? Why can't a ghost eat a fish? Fire can burn a fish and it's made out of energy. Followup question: If ghosts are energy, do you think it would be possible to create an engine that runs on ghostoline?

You could, but a car with that engine would have road handling that could only be described as 'spooky'.

The resurrection power of God is powerful enough to raise people from the dead.

Sure, but even assuming that, you said Jesus proved he wasn't a ghost by eating a fish. How do you know ghosts can't eat fish?
Because Jesus said ghosts can not eat fish. The Bible pretty much explains itself.

While the two men were saying these things, Jesus himself stood among the group of followers. Jesus said to them, "Peace be with you." This surprised the followers. They became afraid. They thought they were seeing a ghost. But Jesus said, "Why are you troubled? Why do you doubt what you see? Look at my hands and my feet. It's really me! Touch me. You can see that I have a living body; a ghost does not have a body like this." After Jesus told them this, he showed them {the holes in} his hands and feet. The followers were amazed and very, very happy to see that Jesus was alive. They still could not believe what they saw. Jesus said to them, "Do you have any food here?" They gave him a piece of cooked fish. While the followers watched, Jesus took the fish and ate it. (ERV)

All that says is that ghosts do not have bodies and that Jesus was peckish and wanted food. It doesn't say anything about ghosts not eating fish.

Really! That's the reason why you need to eat and make sure that you take in certain kind of materials. That's how you grow and heal injuries.

So how does memory go from the old atoms to the new atoms.
It doesn't. There is no "memory" in the old atoms, and thus it does not have to "go" to the new atoms. Memory is not stored "in" the atoms (I would like to see your explanation how that would work), but (xtremely simplified) in the pattern that the atoms form.

Verysincere already pointed out this problem with your hypothesis: the atoms of your body are not uniquely yours. When you die, they will go back into the world, and they will be reused. Other humans can incorporate the atoms that once where part of you... just like the atoms you are made of now can have been part of other humans.

So if your hypothesis is correct... which human will the specific atom be resurrected with?

There is no "memory" in the old atoms,
Whatever or wherever you store memory is made up of atoms. If the memory is actually in the atoms or not. People say memory is stored in the neurons. Of course, but how and where is the memory stored? We have DNA so we have the blueprint of life. So they should be able to figure out how memory is stored.

Yes, but Wesley deals with that issue all the way back in the 1700's. Also we are talking about atoms after we die. Not atoms that are being renewed when we are still alive. What "BOOKS" are opened when the dead are judged?

" Revelation 20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is [the book] of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works."

You can read Wesleys sermon for yourself. He was not the first to preach this sermon.

Having a DNA sequence does not tell us how memories are stored, and it is the ARRANGEMENT of atoms that are essential to storing memories. When that arrangement is changed you have lost the memory. It is gone.

Also, atoms are never "renewed". Atoms in our body are replaced by atoms that we bring in (either through food or respiration). If you spread someone's ashes those atoms are now free in the environment. When you combust their biomolecules it releases those atoms into the atmosphere as CO2. That CO2 is turned into sugars in plants. Guess who eats those sugars? We do, either directly by eating crops or indirectly by eating the animals that were raised on those crops.

Wesley does not "deal" with that issue at all... he just asserts that it can happen in the way he asumes, because God. Nor did he even understand the biological and chemical processes that make up the problem we discuss here.

"Of course God can do it!" is a very unsatisfying answer to such questions, because it is unverifiable, unfalsifiable and can be used to back up contradicting explanations.
