CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Oh, I love birds. Birds are the animals I love the most. Was in a bird forum too. What are your favourite birds. You will be hard press to squirrel proof bird feeders. It hardly ever works.

For me, I love lories, cockatoos, parotlets, conures (lots of birds in the parrot family, mynahs, orioles and the list goes on. I especially love the sound that the mynahs make and 1 of the sound which they make will cause them to bob their head up and down which cause some of their head feathers to spike a bit. So cute. Google for rainbow lories/lorikeets if you have never seen one. They are colorful. I had a semiwild lori bit me because I guess it thought that it did not have enough 'fruit juice' or that it had to share with the other lories and when it bit me, it made sure that it stare at me. Real spunk I tell ya and yes it hurts.
Nice to meet a fellow bird lover.
