Speaking of Democrats and Republicans -
I have 6 year old twin grandboys - when they come to visit - I pay them $5 to pick up trash around the house for me. One is very eager and goes about his job quickly, the other drags around doesn't really want to work. When I paid them - the eager one says 'you didn't do your job - I did all the work' - so I saw that it was not fair, so I said I'll pay you 5 cents per piece of trash. Again the eager one got busy and picked up several pieces of trash - the one lagging behind chose what trash he picked up and only had a few pieces - so when I paid them - the eager one had more money - so the one lagging behind said I have an idea - lets put all of it together and then split the money - the eager one said 'but I did all the work' the one lagging behind laughed and said 'yes but I get paid the same as you.' - the eager one said 'does that make you a democrat?"

Strange thing is we never discuss politics around them and their parents are not political at all - must have picked it up at school.

Sean Hannity had a radio show once with Honors Students from high school as guests. They were each one promoting a Socialist, wealth redistribution ideology. A high school teacher called in and explained to Sean that the students didn't really have a frame of reference t understand what they were promoting because they had no income or wealth that could be redistributed. So he proposed an education plan to the students. He said that under the plan, one letter grade would be removed from each of them and given to the C students. Their A grades would then become B's and the C grades of the other students would also become B's. Their was dead silence for about 10 seconds when on of the students finally spoke up and said that doing so wouldn't be fair because he was the one who EARNED the grade.

Lesson learned.

How much of their grades do you think those students would have willingly forfeited? Do you think they would have sacrificed a grade, taking a B, to give one grade to F students bringing them up to a D, barely passing?
