I understand where Joab is coming from. Although.... the dad of this little boy isn't converting is he? So still the imagery doesn't make sense for a Baptist minister's pov who isn't thinking about converting. Or is he?

Also, the Catholic Church teaches that kids need to be baptized ASAP after birth. To Baptists believe in infant/child baptisms? Although I don't think God would send a child to Hell we don't know where the unbaptized go.....if they die before the age of reason.

No. They wait until some arbitrary age when the kid decides he/she wants to follow Christ and does whatever the individual church says they have to do to be considered "saved".

he answered some questions- it seemed to me that he was just recalling what people said he said when he was younger

i dont think he really remembers the experience now, i am sure he is not a liar; but perhaps people put things in his head

Well, he said something that Catholics have been saying for quite some time...
This little boy could see his dad while he sat on the lap of the Lord.

What makes ppl say 'dead' ppl cannot see us?
Which i dislike that whole - 'dead' concept because the 2nd death is hell.

BUT rather he has proven they can....they hear our prayers thru the grace of God. He heard his fathers prayers... with the Lord.

I mean, if the parents reflect enough - they will see the truths of Catholicism in this.

Just as he could see, the Saints with the Lord can see and the Lord if the Saints ask, can answer us thru their request.

Ahhhhhh - animals in Heaven. I have heard that a few times - and i have no doubt.
But thats another topic, really.
