CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

He's got over 600 friends on FB, so the chances that he's single...meh...
I've talked to him plenty during the shows and rehearsals, but we're all a big, gabby, silly bunch, so it probably hasn't stood out to him. Maybe I can muster up a super-charming smile or something that will snag his attention LOL.
I know I defeat myself before anything even happens. :shrug: The guy for me will just have to flat-out pursue me. Cause I'm not going to chase him. That way I know he's interested instead of crushing on a hopeless cause.

The only people I know who have hundreds of FB friends are not necessarily all that sociable (or in a relationship), but just play FB games where friends are helpful...like Farmville or Mafia Wars.

I think this may be single awareness week for me... the other night a friend (jokingly) told me she was going to introduce me to a woman at her church who, in her words, has a part-time ministry in match-making. The same night at work the security guard made a big fuss over the fact that I'm not married and told me i need to find myself a man. and just today I met someone at church for the first time and the first thing she asked me is if i was married and then she gave me a mini pep-talk about how I have plenty of time to find my husband.
I just have one thing to say in light of all of that: oy.
