I don't know. I first found out about Jesus in bible-study when I was about 6
I was about that age when I visited a church that asked me if I knew about Jesus.

My mum married a Catholic (I was four at the time). Part of their marriage was that I was to be raised Catholic. However I had no education at all in religion so I was sent to Sunday School to find out.

I was baptised when I was seven.

Zazal.... By the way when were you 'born again'...I'm not asking when you became an Eastern Orthodox believer...but when did you actually believe on the L-rd Jesus, and know forgiveness for your sins?

I don't know. I first found out about Jesus in bible-study when I was about 6

I am sure you must realise there is a vast difference between knowing about Jesus and actually coming to a point where you actively believe and confess that He is the Son of G-d, and died and rose again for you personally. I found out about Jesus when I was two or three years old...but did not come to faith in the L-rd until I was 21.

"... no one can see the Kingdom of God unless they are born from above (again). " John 3:3
"Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit." John 3:5

Do you mean that only those from the time of Christ and beyond will
see and enter the Kingdom of God ?

So if you had died before the age of 21, what do you understand would have been your eternal fate? What do you understand regarding the salvation of the intellectually disabled? Can only the educated be saved?

Even the demons fear and tremble, so they too believe!

And of course I'm always learning more about Jesus.

I don't like to think "At age 21 I knew everything about Jesus", I think that would be rather arrogant.

I also find the problem with the idea of being saved is that once saved sin ceases to have any consequences (in that you can't be 'un-saved' in Protestant ideology) and therefore one has a license to do whatever one wants to do).

Who are we fooling really?
let me kick this up a notch:

Difference being,
those who are His WANT to do the will of the Father.

See how nicely that works out?

But for some reason, that still bugs ya don't it?
smh

NO WHERE in the bible does it say Mary is the Queen of Heaven. Calling Mary the queen of Heaven, worshipping her, praying to her, bowing down to a statue of her is complete idolatry.

No place in the Bible mentions the Trinity, or in fact, the Bible. Using these terms must be heresy :D

Absolutely. But for me, my actions have consequences. For you, once you believe you're saved, there are NO consequences.

Check out this book... The Private Memoirs and Confessions of a Justified Sinner by James Hogg

No doubt you WANT to do his will, but you still sin, but it doesn't matter.
I said it doesn't matter for weeks, and you and others have been arguing against this

Everyone including you wanted to disagree with me on this.

And anyway, this WANTING to do his will, you (and I don't mean you personally, this is just an expression) could genuinely believe you are doing his will, and you're not. But it wouldn't matter anyway, because as long as you think you're saved, it's okay. There's nothing to keep you in check. You could genuinely believe that stealing children from their parents and raising them as Christian is the wish of the Lord.

And it was done in this country. The Australian Inland Mission did just that. Presbyterians doing God's work.*

Great evils could be done in his name, and it wouldn't really be an 'evil' because no matter what you do it doesn't lessen your relationship with God.

*-I accept that people do bad things in his name, but for you there are no consequences of doing bad things. That's what I find so un-biblical. For me I have to be doubly careful of my actions because I don't presume to have a 'get out of gaol free card' printed up by God.

I've heard of Africans having no fear of bullets because they wore magic charms provided by their witchdoctors to protect them. Being unafraid, however, didn't prevent them being shot and killed.
