Just got out of church. We have been going through ecclesiastes. Now we are in chapter 4. Our message was on unity, and talking about different things like selfishness and loneliness. I try to find some people to get connected to but just have not found a person yet. I had quite a few at the churches I attended in Arizona. I am glad I still have the ability to text them on my phone.

The pastor also talked about the little toe being so little but has just as much of a purpose as many of the other parts. And other correlations back and forth throughout the bible.

I just read about Philip who was sent to eunuch to preach Jesus to and afterward he was translated to Azotus. (Acts 8). I tend to think this is for ministry primarily, that God would translate us from one location to another.

I read a book by Jesse Duplantis called 'Close Encounters of the God Kind', and in it, Jesse describes being translated while he was driving down the highway. He had to be somewhere to pray for this sick child and the child's life was quickly ebbing away. While he was driving along, he just started rejoicing and praising God and from memory I think the car started to fill up with fog or something like that anyhow, and all of a sudden he was somewhere else with no memory of travelling along the roads and hardly a lapse in time sort of thing. Wouldn't that be totally fun! How awesome is our God! You are great Oh Lord and awesome in every way - Oh wait- where did I hear those lyrics...

I heard Jesse when he preached on his encounter that day when he was praying in his hotel room. I never read the book and don't recall that particular story. Way cool!

Ec. - that's quite a book to study! I just read it recently from a different version than I'm used to. It's interesting how things will strike me differently just by rewording it. There are some great points in Ec., but none so great as the conclusion.

One of the most awesome revelations I had was the Spirit speaking to me a couple years ago and saying "I will quicken you." I looked up the word in both the NKJV and the KJV. In the NKJV it uses the words "give life," but in the KJV it uses the word "quicken." This is a comfort to me since in much reading is a weariness to the flesh, but the Spirit promises that even us as new believers He will quicken our understanding and knowledge by bringing what we need to the forefront. He gives life to His word so that it is magnified, meaning it is lifted off the page and into our hearts and minds. I call it magnifying the Lord or the Word.

Out loud. That's what the Holy Spirit said to me today - out loud.

I was praying in the spirit and began to interpret and "Out loud" is what came out. The LORD wants me (us) to speak the Word out loud.

I had been reading in Acts this morning about when Philip joined himself with the eunuch in his travels, and it said the eunuch was reading in Isaiah, out loud. A commentary told me that it was a common practice in the ancient world to do that and it was not until fairly recent times that it was thought of to read to oneself.

Years ago the LORD told me to read the Word out loud. Read it so I can hear it. Read it to Him. Read it so all the demonic spirits can hear it. Read it out loud! Pray out loud.

I want you to do a little experiment to see if there is not something to this. I did this once before here, so if you did it, bear with me. Anyway, say in your mind and heart, not out loud, but only from within, "I love You, LORD."

Okay. Now say it softly to Him. Then say it a little louder. Finally, shout it to Him.

Tell me what happened.

Oh yes! He will do this! And it is so wonderful! The Word is alive! There is nothing so exciting as the journey through His Word, and then as we go through life it speaks to us!

Let's set the record straight - I took piano lessons but I am not currently playing piano. It's been many years since I've played. But I have played guitar for much longer even though I had no lessons. But even the guitar has been left by the wayside. Caring daily for my family shoved it aside, then homeschooling stepped in, then a job, then a course in alternative health to become a certified Alternative Health and Wellness Counselor .......pant, pant, pant....let me catch my breath!

I don't play anymore.

But I sing, sing, sing!!!!! And I dance too! Just between me and the LORD.

I think I'm going to listen to Buddy again, after this worship song I'm listening to now.

I know what ya mean. I used to play piano nearly everyday but after having my daughter, caring for her has obviously taken up most of my time. I am hoping that as she gets older, there will be more and more opportunities to play - I have alot of practice and revision to do LOL! I am only a self-taught amateur - I like to just play at home for fun - not very polished - especially now. I can't sight-read very well at all, but have a really good ear and once I learn something, I can memorise really long pieces of music. I have at times, looked at a piece of music and thought 'How do I do that - it doesn't make any sense etc', and the Lord has actually shown me in the spirit instantly how it is to be played - the correct timing and how the notes come together! He is a really good teacher LOL! Perhaps - one day - God willing, I will be able to get back into it all and maybe the Lord will teach me how to sight read properly praise God!

My friend that is AWESOME! Well folks, ya all heard it here first LOL! Praise the Lord!! And yes, it is absolutely catchy! I was singing it too! Isn't wonderful to see all the Lord's great plans all unfolding in His followers? I just love it! I really do feel like going outside into the paddocks and singing this song to the sheep out yonder LOL!

Hey, just wondering - I have a guitar - I started to learn it years ago but then I inherited a piano and haven't looked back. God told me the piano is for me and not the guitar LOL. How on earth do ya play a 12 string? Are the chords the same? What do ya do with all those extra strings LOL! I think I'll just stick to the piano.

Wow that song is still in my head! I have just met a new friend, and she sings and plays worship music - she sings in the new church I am going to. Anyway, she played my guitar and sang for me the other day, and God showed me that when she sings certain chords, they just 'ring out', and that He will be reaching people through those chords can you believe it - soooooo amazing. He is reaching people through music without them even knowing! He told me to play Amazing Grace at home on the piano while my husband is home and that He will touch him through that. God is so clever!

Hey, we're a bit of a musical bunch aren't we? Did ya know that our Sis Cindy plays piano? I can just see us all up there in heaven having jam sessions together hee hee! God bless you and seriously, I am so thankful that you shared this wonderful gift with us, your sisters. What a blessing indeed...

I've asked the Lord about this before - and He said that I am not even allowed to give our real names - I don't know what His reasons are - but perhaps He will allow me at some point in the future to give you and Cindy our names and a photo, but to be kept off of the forum - perhaps via PM - we'll see.

He wants me to explain something - wait, here it comes lol - He will allow me at some point to show my face here amongst my friends, but not for now. There are some things that have yet to become manifest in the real world, ie Shepherds husband is yet to come into the faith. Breaking her silence so to speak, will only hinder that progress as it leaves her open to assault from the enemy. It is only a matter of time before these things in her life come to fruition, and she will be only too happy to show you some pics a little later down the track. So be patient with her because she needs your prayers and encouragement as she waits for My promises to be fulfilled...

LOL - how amazing was that? I am not accustomed to the Lord talking through me about me to someone else. If I didn't know His presence to be true, I would think I had gone totally nuts LOL! Praise the Lord!

Hey, maybe then God WILL organise a Praise and Worship party at your place in your backyard for us! How amazing would that be????? Oh, and I will be sooooooooo happy and thankful to the Lord for including my husband in all of this! YIPPEE!!! I wish they had a little guy doing cartwheels all over the place - I would put him right here!

Hey, just wanted to share some insights that the Holy Spirit has given me. The first one is:

Psalm 91:1-4 AMP

" 1HE WHO dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty [Whose power no foe can withstand].

2I will say of the Lord, He is my Refuge and my Fortress, my God; on Him I lean and rely, and in Him I [confidently] trust!
3For [then] He will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence. 4[Then] He will cover you with His pinions, and under His wings shall you trust and find refuge; His truth and His faithfulness are a shield and a buckler.

etc etc.

Notice how in the first verse, it says 'He who dwells in the secret place etc', and then in the second verse it says 'I will say of the Lord'. Then, in verse 3 and 4 it says 'Then' He will ...... etc.'

What I have been shown, is that there are conditions to be met. The first being that we must dwell in the secret place and the second is that we will say of the Lord, or in other words, what are we saying of the Lord? Are we speaking our confessions daily? If not, why not? To dwell in the secret place of the Most High, we must also keep His commandments and be obedient to Him. Those are the requirement to be met. Obedience and speaking and declaring with our mouths - yes again!

Exodus 15:26 "Saying, If you will diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord your God and will do what is right in His sight, and will listen to and obey His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases upon you which I brought upon the Egyptians, for I am the Lord Who heals you."

God is sooooooo good! The scriptures are just sooooo rich with information! I love it! God showed me a picture of a Bible with the letters all lifting off the page in the air, kinda like a 3D experience! Praise His name! His word really is living and comes alive to us by the power of the Holy Spirit, who is a really good teacher!

And your lips from speaking deceit."

Speaking deceit is speaking any untruth. The truth in God's Kingdom is what is in the Bible - and not what you see around you. That is what we must remember - to always speak forth life and His promises and not according to what looks to be the so called facts. Yet another example of the fruit of our lips. Seems to be the topic of the season LOL! God is soooo good!
