I give thanks for the fellowship we have as Brothers and Sisters in Christ. Our love of Jesus Christ and appreciation for what He has done for us are wonderful bonds between us. Just think, we will be spending Eternity together with our Lord and Saviour.

I've been in some of those places more than once, so you will be in my prayers. Going through hard times makes us more thankful for things we many times take for granted. We even had a couple of times without heat when the children were still home. I can assure you that none of us take for granted being warm. We know that God gives us all good things and we try to always give thanks. I will be praying that God supplies all of your needs.

I love Romans 8 and like to study it often. The above portion of Scripture is just part of the beauty and truth of Romans 8. I firmly believe that Christians can live in Romans 8 right now, even in this short life. I'm convinced that the key is yielding for God's Use every day. I'm not hinting that we won't have trials, troubles, and illnesses - rather that we will have God's Grace, God's Love, and God working things out for our good. Romans 8 also speaks about the power of prayer. Just think - we have the Holy Spirit of God living in our hearts as a guide and comforter.

2 Corinthians 12:9-10 (KJV) 9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.

We are not walking alone - God is with us.

God's help through a painful day and friends (cyber and otherwise) who listened.

although sometimes His answers are not-quite, what we expected
He knows our needs so much better than we do
and by His grace... we give testament to His love and forgiveness for us
and we, being witness[es]
are able to give Him all of the praise and the glory, He is so-merciful

Amen Michael!

I give thanks for all who shared God's Word with me and taught me throughout my entire life. I firmly believe God's Promise that His Word will never return void. I also think of this Scripture:

Isaiah 52:6-7 Therefore my people shall know my name: therefore they shall know in that day that I am he that doth speak: behold, it is I. 7 How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!

Romans 10:14-15 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? 15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
