CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Me too. Josh is notorious for not acting sick even when he's got something major, like strep or pneumonia. I gave him cold meds lastnight and this morning...I know allergies have been crazy because of the heat wave recently and the pollen is just everywhere.
Here's praying for both of us!

IJWTS - The party got moved to Friday, and I am frantic! I had really hoped on that extra few hours on Saturday to get the house completely together! And its only supposed to be 50 degrees with chance of rain which could or could not mean we have a bon fire.

IJWTS - I just realized... ,they are going to want to go play teh drums... in my basement.... in teh band room.... ggrrrrr..... that means I have to clean my basement too... and make sure my laundry piles are presentable.... dont want my unmentionables out there for all to see.
